Perhaps I have little faith in the UK postage system (wonder why :ill:), but im not hoping for much before Wednesday/Thursday in all honesty. Be very shocked to see anything this side of mid week.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. :) I think the friday dispatches could be Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Lets just wait and see :nervous:
 
Just got an email from Game saying my signature edition is on the way :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

Shame the couriers are apparantly holding it back till release date :boggled::boggled::irked:
 
Do you think a store like Gamestation will sell it on a tuesday possibly, the nearest Gamestation store is alot better then the local Game store. Last time i went to buy a game from Game they asked ID which i didnt have because i didnt expect i would be asked and then they didnt go about it professionally imo.

Gamestation on the other hand are much better, they seem like pretty decent people and on a few times ive traded in a game and they never bothered checking. Plus ive been there a few times and they sort of know me now, so im hoping they be in the "Christmas spirit".

With GAME you have 0.1% of a chance, with Gamestation you have 1% of a chance. Try and independent videogame store, you have a much better chance with those.:sly:

Gamestation is owned by game so i doubt it

I think we might be lucky. I can't remember the last time i pre-ordered something from Play and it wasn't here a day early.

Heh, just noticed a unaccounted for 37.99 missing from my back account, so went to check Play.com and it has been despatched! Come on Royal Mail, dont fail me now!

I preordered mine with Game online.
 
I really hope tomorrow is lucky, my copy from Play was dispatched Friday evening. Chances are high but you can never know for certain with Royal Mail.
 
Usually takes two days from shopto once its been dispatched ( did with previous items), so looks like it will be wednesday for us shopto'ers :(

46 previous orders with ShopTo, only two of which took more than one day to deliver ;) Must be the postal service in your area.

Even with my dodgy post i've always recieved my orders from Shop to the next day. This is why I changed my order from play.com to Shop to. The best example of how impressive Shop to are is when I ordered F1 2010 at 3pm and it arrived the next day.

What many need to realise is because Shop to is based in England and items are posted first class then technically they should arrive the next day. If they don't this isn't the fault of Shop to but RM.

I can guarantee some orders from Shop, Play.com will be delayed, or go missing but these are definitively the minority.
 
Mine is being delayed by Amazon and the card company since it takes too long to post but I will receive the game hopefully on the 24th. :)
 
I got my message from GAME saying that my GT5 has been picked, packed and despatched...then followed by the email saying that my GT5 has left the building.

Roll on GT5 and G25
 
Woo, just got an e-mail that my GT5 has been despatched! Hoping it will arrive on tuesday. Ordered from vpd.fi and live in Finland btw
 
To be completely honest, I have no idea. There's going to be a lot of people in one part of the world/country getting it a couple of days early, some maybe a couple of days late even. We'll just have to grin it. I'm fully expecting mine on Wednesday.
 
Got that message from GAME too. I'm expecting it to arrive Tuesday. Every preorder i've had with GAME has arrived a day early of the release so things are looking good :)

Mine was sent Friday evening too, I'll be making a special trip home from work at midday tomorrow to see if it's been posted.

Note to self, lock the dog out of the hallway before he bites it as it comes through the door :scared:
 
Even though GT5 releases on Wednesday, I'll only be able to play it on friday afternoon until sunday afternoon, when I'll have to wait another 5 days before I play it again :(
