New to this forum but have purchased all the GT games since.
Got my pre orderded copy from shopto this morning. Very good considering i was expecting it tomorrow.
Downloaded the updated which taken about 15 mins and then installed game data to HD which taken approx 40ish mins...the counter was inaccurate as hell lol!
One thing it said was your time and date settings are incorrect...how do i correct this...it used to happen to me in GT5P too but my time and date were correct. Be grateful if someone could advise me

Can anyone confirm for me what happens when the game has finished installing, does it wait for a button press first or does it jump straight into the intro movie??
I ask cause i dont intend on staring at a black 'installing' screen for an hr or so but i dont want to miss anything either so i would really appreciate some info from those that have the game already.

That is great news! Although i suppose it depends on how many planes, trains and automobiles it has to travel on. Just because its further to go means nothing.

Seriously, I could have told you this, weeks, months, years ago. If you order something they can guarantee a specific delivery date with, i.e. courier service, they'll make sure that's the date you get it on. If you order something less guaranteed they'll ship early to allow for slight delays. You can't order something asking for a specific date and then complain when it doesn't arrive one day sooner.
I'm just want to know what's the whole point of pre-ordering if u are not gonna have it earlier than those how buy it at release day?? SE here and still waiting.. i mean, it looks like i'm gonna have to wait till tomorrow around 1pm the earliest.. it would have been easier go to the shop as soon as it opens at 9am and just buy the bloody game.. at least i now know where I'm gonna pre-order in the future..

I think you will have to quit the game and check and update your date/time form the PS3 settings. Hope that helps 👍Congrats to everyone else... SE guys and gals, guess after what Maz said it sucks a little. As for me I preordered it for instore pickup and was lucky enough to find out they are doing a midnight launch. Will give feedback once I get it in 12 hours or so.

Just come home on lunch break, but game is not here. Kept telling myself it wouldnt be, but still disappointed.
Like to think that it makes delivery tomorow a certainty though, which is fine. Its still earlier than going into town afterwork tomorrow.

If it's like mine it'll take ages to get down to 50 seconds then the 5 seconds from 50-45 takes about 5mins, then another 5 mins to get to 35 then it kinds spun down quite realistically to 3 secs where it sat for another 5minutes. Looks like Sony have licensed the Microsoft status bar

So my CE has moved to 'dispatched soon' on amazon UK. I sure hope this gets out today before 15.00hrs or I won't be getting it tomorrow will I? Hopefully Amazon actually has some stock. How long for most people did it take for the 'dispatched soon' status to move to 'now dispatched' on Amazon UK? Its been at 'dispatched soon' for me since early this morning.

ive just been called up from gamestop (Aarhus - denmark) she told me i could come and pickup my game today, its been moved to this date instead of tomorrow!
