Goodluck trying to get your money back on a game you have opened. I ordered from Play.com and it will turn up in its own good time no point popping a blood vessel

I took it that he was going to take the play version (unopened) back to tesco? Should work i'd have though as they'll have the same barcode.

Because they are based in the channel islands mail takes a bit longer to get onto mailand UK no sweat people will get it I am sure tomorrow is the 3 of the 5 working days if you had a dispatched notice on friday evening.
 
I got a message from my local gamestop store that they been told that its is OK to start selling the game today in Sweden.

Sitting here at work with my CE copy laying on my desk, cant wait to get home :)
 
If mine doesn't come tomorrow then I won't be ordering from play.com again for a new release. I would like it today, but know that's just a bonus, but getting it on release day is a must. There is no excuse really especially when other companies can get it done.

When was yours updated as 'posted'??

Just got gt5 off amazon uk download and install will take over 1 hour by the looks of it. I'm almost glad I dont' have time to play it this waiting would probably have led to my suicide :)

I've done it for something else once, but never thought about doing it for the game. However, i've got such a busy week that i will only have a few hours tops before friday evening so no HUGE rush for me. Not enough to justify going out and buying another copy, I just wouldn't pre-order from play.com again if it didn't arrive tomorrow.

However, if by chance it hasn't arrived by friday then i'm nipping out before the mrs does to buy a copy, as she's out and leaving me all alone with my 40" tv and GT5, wahoooooo
 
Mine was about that time on Friday too mate I didn;t get mine today either. Oh well release day it could be.

Yeah, mine sounds very similar. I will let you know if it arrives, but as you say i'm also very doubtful it will have as very few play.com people seem to have had delivery today.

After smashing your hopes down earlier about you probably not having it today, I'll build them back up again...

I'd pre ordered the Blu-ray box set of 'The Pacific' from Play which was released earlier this month... It arrived on the release date ...There is still hope.

The mystery deepens. What does that mean? Did they say the 24th by mistake instead of the 23rd or will we be getting it delivered on the 25th. I will seriously freak if I'm waiting until the 25th.

I'd be fuming mate! Give them a right one over the phone and tell them to return it, ha! Then go buy from a shop. Of course, you may choose to ignore me, but it's what i'd do! :)

Amazon just charged me for it....only a matter of time before it ships :D

Yeah they charged me 8 hours ago, still waiting.

Any idea how long Amazon UK got to dispatch it before I miss tomorrows release estimate.
I paid for the piece of mind, super expensive delivery.

Oh yeah, piece of mind:ouch:
