I was well aware it was sarcasm. And it seems like you're just trying to make nice now, which I have not interest in doing. This has gotten way off topic now so I'm going to remove myself from this thread.
Adiós.

I never said they should handle well. I know they don't handle well, when in GT5 they handle as good as a purpose built road course race car, say the Corvette RM for example. Which isn't realistic, which is the point I was making. I don't know how much clearer I can make that. Maybe try reading what I actually type before you accuse me of something I didn't say.
Absolutely false statement
What about at the other 21 tracks where they don't use them? There's still close racing there!. The reason the cars stay side by side is because of the restrictor plates which forces bump drafting and pack racing.
Haha, no. Far fewer cars than NASCAR, and the side by side racing is much less than NASCAR.If you want real wheel to wheel racing, watch IndyCar.
Less often, I might add. Those guys go wheel to wheel at higher speeds
No. They don't touch because in an open wheel car, touching will result in a much bigger crash than in huge stock cars. They can't touch is why they don't. If they do then they could easily have a crash like Wheldon's where he flew into the fence, and in cars that have far less driver safety, that's dangerous.and don't touch because of the obvious consequences.
And you're saying that NASCAR drivers can't do that? Come on. They make as many clean passes as in Indy Car. You're just too ignorant to notice any of the ones that aren't dirty. That, my friend, takes real skill.
Actually, it does. Because if you hit each other at the wrong time, it'll end up in a huge crash. And the drivers being hit make amazing saves quite often. It doesn't take much talent to put a fender on the guy next to you to wreck him or move him out of the way.
HAHAHA. This I had to laugh at. You obviously have never watched NASCAR.It takes MUCH more talent to adjust your front and rear bars to get the car to handle better
and then run inches from the guy next to you and complete a CLEAN pass.
To say it's not real racing is not ignorance, it's fact based opinion.
Racing in nascar is as real as WWE wrestling.
It looks real, but it's controlled.
After all the Joey Logano stuff, I believe it's the opposite. You should try doing some research before you make claims. Nascar is losing TV ratings and fans.
Have you seen the stands at the races this season? They're almost bare. Bristol looked like they had to give away tickets.![]()
Why would you write a giant post to try and take the thread back off track when the guy you are posting at said he removed himself from the thread? Give it up.
NASCAR is as real as any other sport: boxing, basketball, golf, tennis, football, soccer and many other sports have illegally fixed if that is what you mean as fake. Anyway...
I think the Brickyard 400 could be added to the endurance races but I don't think GT wants 2 endurance races at the same track in the game.
Correct. The oval endurance races should be the Daytona 500, Indy 500, and Superspeedway 150 miles.
All they need to do is bring in more of the 'popular drivers' then add some more NASCAR-esque courses (such as Martinsville, Sonoma and Atlanta). All with day to night transition and fans will be happy!
What Race Driver 3 does is actually have the AI named after the drivers competing in the series, which I don't disagree with. If not, GT should not name the cars after the drivers. It isn't like any other actual race car in the game is named after the driver. I think it cheapens the experience.

Ye ha now please back on subject
NASCAR may not be letting GT use all the drivers names because of copyright but I don't know for sure.
Yes, I agree. I don't think GT will have IndyCars in GT6 and maybe not ever. LeMans NASCAR SuperGT and F1 are the 4 best represented series in GT by far.
There are F1 tracks and races in the game too. Every F1 in GT6 would be nice also as well as NASCAR,
PD should do it like this:
instead of putting everysingle car of all drivers of that year, they should put only one NASCAR CAR in the NCD, and afterwords, where you normally select the paint of the car, there you should select the actual car of the driver.
so instead of having 42 NASCAR cars, you only have one.
