Yeah, the update 🤬 up the PS4 servers a small bit. Was perfectly fine the past 2 days
I've only got to play the game for around a hour. Couldn't download it all till Saturday & now this. I hope it comes back soon. . .

Great. But it still doesn't mean we will get more cars (except BMW M2)![]()
Yeah i'll try find a quote for that, but we know it's not complete because the M235i isn't there. One of the other traffic cars is a G35 skyline so that will probably be playable as well.
Ok i misunderstood him, but nontheless of course there are enough people giving away codes. In another forum I got offered 2 codes which at that time i didnt need anymore. There are enough people giving away beta codes for NFS, Rainbow Six Beta etc.
Of course that's my expectation of it. It literally is a game.
Again. Really? There isn't one single non wet road in the game (that I've seen so far). You can't say that Ghost Games were making the in-game city based off LA and thought "You know what keeps the immersion feeling like you're in LA? Having the roads wet all of the time! Not one single dry road!". Again if Ghost Games were going for a realistic depiction of LA, why have the roads wet all the time even though it's completely unrealistic? Because its a game! So then whats stopping them from making the city feel more alive?
No disrespect LMSCorvetteGT2, i understand that you love this game, But i really don't like the overly condescending tone in each of your post's, And i'm positive i'm not the only one who notices this when you reply to someone that has a "negative" opinion about this game, My advice is to let people say what they have to say, if it's negative so be it,ignore it. you don't always have to damage control every subject, it's not nearly that serious. There are enough people, but that's if they actually are willing, I don't see why people would horde codes for a Beta. I mean if people find one and get it good for them, but to publicly ask here just seems silly. The NFS forums seem to be a better place.
Once again that's your take on it and no one else here has complained that the roads are wet all the time. Also they may be interpreting the weather of LA in a different manner while keep the night life the same as if it were real.
It doesn't matter if it literally is a game, your expectations or hype you created is the only reason that the game has let you down, GG once again never once specified a certain way the setting of the open world would be like. If they had I could see reason to complain.
sorry for barging in, but in some ways, the same could be said to you. Remember when i said "5 car limit maybe isn't that bad" then this is what you said :No disrespect LMSCorvetteGT2, i understand that you love this game, But i really don't like the overly condescending tone in each of your post's, And i'm positive i'm not the only one who notices this when you reply to someone that has a "negative" opinion about this game, My advice is to let people say what they have to say, if it's negative so be it,ignore it. you don't always have to damage control every subject, it's not nearly that serious.
But hey, that's just my 0.2 cents.
No, it is bad, nomatter what way you look at it, I like to have freedom in my games, and i like have Alot of projects, like i can in GT, Forza and The Crew, i don't want to be tied down to just 5 vehicles, i like to have a plethora of different projects that i can complete or tweak as i please without the worry of running out of space, the 5 reveal and career only was a major blow to me, couple that with the No cockpit view, Manual Transmission and always online..and EA managed to strike again, i had..ridiculous hype for this game when i first saw the trailer, Now it's just a fizzle.
Iv'e been talking down to you?sorry for barging in, but in some ways, the same could be said to you. Remember when i said "5 car limit maybe isn't that bad" then this is what you said :

never said you've been talking me down. You said to let people what they want to say but you kind of force your opinion too in the previous post.Iv'e been talking down to you?
i'm not trying to force my opinion on you, i expressed my opinion and how i felt about this, i'm not blatantly telling you how the game should be for you, i'm saying how i wish the game was for me, which is again my opinion. i could see if i said, "No you're wrong, you shouldn't accept the 5 car limit, You should be defiant and demand for more space". simple wording in a statement can make all the difference. i admit the "No it is bad nomatter what you look at it" was abit much, but i was heated at the time.never said you talked me down. At the end of the day, it's all just opinions, iv'e still been playing the beta, and to be honest, it's not half bad, yes there are some issues and the aforementioned short comings are present, but i can still see me playing it for awhile.
Just like any other NFS that iv'e played in the past. And even though the 5 car limit, is ridiculous and a massive let down to me, i'll try to make the best out of it.
Didn't the auto transmission in the Criterion games shift up if you were maintaining low speeds?
I never said it was.And this isn't a Criterion game.
Cool, stop posting irrelevant then.I never said it was.
How is it irrelevant?Cool, stop posting irrelevant then.
You have to remove all visual customization. I forget which button does that.Is there a way to remove bodykits from cars?
I tried the DTM Fiberwerkz (Infamous company in the E30 communities) kit on my E30 to see how it looked, now i can't find a way remove it.. (Who the hell puts a cheap ass kit on a 100.000$++ Evo II anyway?)
Also just tried some cruising, 6.000 RPM @ 80 km/h ruined that experience pretty fast. Manual gearbox would fix this.
Other than that, this game feels pretty solid once you get used to the handling.
If I may barge in, sorry, I believe that 80% of Criterion went over to Ghost Games, so they're sort of developing it with Ghost. I know that Craig Sullivan works there as the Creative Director. They're not working on this game, like they did with Rivals.
Now if you told me Ghost Games had this feature in Rivals, that would be relevant.
Triangle on PS4, 'Y' on Xbox One. You can choose to keep the wheels or get rid of them. You have to remove all visual customization. I forget which button does that.
I was thinking of a previous NFS game. I just couldn't remember which one. Most of the Criterion staff moved to Ghost which is what got me confused. No need to be such an ass about it.They're not working on this game, like they did with Rivals.

I know. And it's not added in this game, atleast not in this build.Rivals did have this feature, and I would be amazed if they removed it. You have to use less than full throttle for a few seconds and then it will go into cruise mode and upshift.
