Why would you do that to a Diablo? Looks absolutely horrendous. I really hope they don't have neons and chrome wheels etc in the options. I think the tuning scene has moved on from that awkward phase.
Who knows? Good thing he likes it, though. These cars are starting to approach the $1 million mark every year due to their rarity, a price his will not reach with what he's done. For reference, a UAE example is for sale at $890K whilst a Swiss example is for sale at $740K (but with 30K on the odo).

I highly doubt EA modeled Morohoshi's GT & then labeled it as a SV because it was "less work & less licenses to pay for", as if the difference in the SV & GT nameplate is so significant in cost, esp. for EA's budget.

I'm betting more on just laziness to actually find out what it is because it's a fairly unknown model.
It's possible that:

- They already had the license for the SV and since they're similar cars, Morohoshi's car is just an SV with GT bodywork (not the actual car, but it's in-game depiction). This is pretty much what they did with the Natty Dread in The Run.
- The guy who writes for the website messed up.
- Some other third option.

All that does is leave them open to scrutiny from the manufacturer by claiming in the game that it's a SV, just with GT bodywork when the car is presented as Morohoshi's GT in its exact livery.

That's like showcasing a 911 GT3, & telling everyone in the game, it's a Ruf 911 with GT3 bodywork. Now, Lamborghini usually doesn't license cars so specifically, so I remain confident it's just someone who didn't do their homework, which is a shame since this car is the pinnacle of the Diablo line-up where as the SV was originally the cheapest model available.

It's been done before. An SV with GT bodywork is still an SV. Maybe that isn't the exact process, but it's not that far out of a possibility.

Except it's not. You'd probably get in a bunch of legal trouble since they're different manufacturers.

Of course, there's still the possibility of the guy writing for the website (or the guy telling the guy writing for the website what to write) being terrible at his job.

Not when the car showcased in the game is specifically Morohoshi's GT down to the livery.

And you'd get in a bunch of legal trouble with 1 manufacturer asking for 1 model, & showcasing something else. You don't think Porsche would be a bit concerned being if they were asked for a Carrera license, & the game ended up showing a GT3/RS and EA's excuse is, "It's a bodykit"?

It doesn't work that way unless the base the car is in the game, & the "body work" is an available modification afterward (similar to what Forza has done for a few cars).

It's a guy that's simply terrible at his job because Morohoshi's bio is obviously written on his real life, not in the game. The question is if this translates to the actual game.
You could call Morohoshi-san many things, but subtle isn’t one of them... Nothing represents that better than his first love, a 1999 Lamborghini Diablo SV. Usually spotted on the expressways and parking areas of Toyko in the early hours of the morning, the super-low, super-loud V12 Diablo is hard to miss, with its dazzling magenta paint, crackling straight-pipe exhaust and arsenal of lighting effects. This car is an in-your-face, flame-spitting middle finger aimed directly at mainstream Japanese society.

You can say the same for the Natty Dread in The Run, but they still depicted it as a GT2 when the actual isn't one.

If the car is a GT3 being listed as a Carrera, then I see the issue there. If the car is a Carrera and just has bodywork (nothing else, no badges or anything) from a GT3, it's still a Carrera.

That's exactly what I was suggesting.

Point being is that if they've done it before (whatever they did), than it can't be a terribly outlandish idea that it's going on again here.

Taking the GT & calling it a SV (according to the bio) is exactly that. Nothing more to be said.

Who's to say Morohoshi's car is the only Diablo in the game? There can easily be a stock SV that we don't know about.

More off screen gameplay, once again they avoid the performance customisation section. Either it's closed in this demo or these people need a punch in the face.

It appears to be locked since the option appears gray instead of blue like the rest.

The devs still disables it because its still working in progress.

The handling looks very Black-Boxy 👍 Even though I have no problems with Criterion drifting, it doesn't really suit city driving. I wish someone would zoom out the map so we can see what the whole city is like (unless it's locked to certain section in the demo).

The lack of customization in official media can be read in two ways: they are either so confident they will blow everyone away that they decide to keep it as a last minute surprise, or it's Undercover style customization with only a few generic bodykits shared between all of the cars.

I will patiently await for more videos.

Right on man based on the videos that i seen..it seems like customization is limited on some cars also as of now i dont have a choice but to think livery editor/vinyls its not happening nobody has bother to look for this options or it basically doesn't exist.

What about dynamic weather? I loved the atmosphere in Rivals, the weather and the trees and leaves blowing.
I like everything Ive seen about NFS 2015 but the locations so far have a similar look. I know we've only seen a
small portion of the game tho.

If you look at the Gamescom trailer that starts with city skyline you can see that it is raining.could it be staged i dunno maybe since is a cinematic they want to set the race up so people know where the wet surface comes from and the wet cars but its just ridiculous if this game doesn't have dynamic weather and rival which was a last gen and current gen game has it completely with dynamic day and night cycle.

About the locations like i said on my review of the trailers soo much traffic on the cut scenes but when you see the actual game-play everything looks dull, blurry and empty plus the a.i on the cops i dunno i seen gameplay footage and the cops don't do nothing they just stop in the side of the race but i don't see them following you ,off course i seen the cut scenes and the cops there are aggressive.i being reading previews and impressions and so far people are disappointed with the lack of information on this game the flow its just very slow pace honestly how many cars are we getting in this game?,the demo that people are playing at gamescom is the same demo as e3 i hope that what we are seeing with customization its just the simple way to get people in and out of the garage and into a race.

Love the wide options for customization.
That feeling from Underground 2 is there.

But I might buy the game post-launch, unlike the past 4 NFS titles that were pre-ordered. Rivals left a sour taste (buggy All Drive for one), so I'm gonna kick back for a while and enjoy Uncharted first.
(by no means I'm hating NFS, I got a sweet spot for it, but just not convinced until I see the whole features of the game first)

Irrelevant. The car shown so far is a GT. The bio is wrong.
How is it irrelevant if we're arguing whether or not it's possible. Not that it is what they've done. It's just something they could've done, and have.

All drive is back and get used to it because they said that this is the blueprint for the future of the series. all drive and always online will be on the series from now on unless some disaster happen and ea decides to include an offline mode.

They got it wrong , Morohoshi fell in love with a Diablo SV , but his car is a Diablo GT also aside from the colors the car in the game doesn't match the colors , i can see a glowing purple with gold, its almost like a fake replica unless later on you unlock the 50 aniversario wrap..but this car could be a diablo sv customized with maybe a gt kit or sum custom kit.i could be wrong but I'm glad we got a diablo representing the outlaw a very good throwback to need for speed 3 hot pursuit back in 90's and most wanted 2005 and it totally surprise me to get a diablo in the game, i wonder how many lambos we goona get in this game?.. I'll take a guess diablo gt,aventador, huracan and maybe a Countach or Murcielago.
