This is becoming more of a rant thread than a discussion thread.

No matter if the game suffers from no manual, lag(though its true since the game is running in 30fps), EA's mistakes, and basing it off from No Limits(which is a good mobile game in my opinion when it comes out) I still think we got what we wanted, a Underground/Carbon like game.

Enough with the complaints. We can rant about the game when the game is released. :)

There will always be the unpleasable fanbase.

True! like i said expectations low and take it with a grain of salt. soo far this need for speed has awesome cars looking forward to the full car list.

Take a look at this site is called gt planet and gran turismo is a sim which is the "perfect" driving sim so when you have a need for speed thread in a mainly gran turismo site you get the perfectionists that want need for speed an arcade racer to feature all the simulation and stuff don't get me wrong I'm learning a lot here in terms of car specs and facts.

People wanted this constantly on forums or even YouTube videos you had the underground army going at it now they are getting the game and here come the complains.

I came here because it's the only active discussion forum for any need for speed game I can find anywhere as EA has no official NFS forums. I couldn't give a toss about GT I think it's an aweful vacuum cleaner car engine sim with horrible physics but that's just me.

But any way my complaints stem mostly from what EA has done to the NFS series. Every racing game should have a choice of controls IMO, and personally, manual transmission is a bit deal part of that.

However like I said I am done with the complaints, I'd rather just lurk and comment on what interests me rather than annoys me.

Best thing you can do if you don't like something in a game is DON'T BUY IT. We all like to think our voice matters, but in this world money is what makes a difference. Trust me, I used to think the same as you do. It just doesn't work like that sadly.

Vote with your wallet. Don't like, don't buy. If enough people don't buy the game they'll get the message eventually.

NFS Underground fans have been waiting for a modern reboot for a long time so I think we should be pretty happy that this game is happening at all, the only valid issues are the always online thing and the lack of manual transmission. Both won't be deal breakers for most people. I play sim racing games mostly and the auto transmission doesn't bother me at all, I've said it before but having full on arcade physics makes a manual gearbox unnecessary.

Lack of MT doesn't bother me, nor does a lack of cockpit cam. Always online and the 5 car garage limit does bother me, but we have yet to see how it's going to be implemented so I'll wait before passing final judgment.

Honestly, I just want to see a good game. Don't care about the nitty gritty features. Just a good, working game at launch that doesn't need 10 GBs of patches just to work. And for once for EA to not hide half the game content behind a paywall. That's it. If they can do that they have regained my trust, otherwise my boycott of NFS continues.

All drive is back and get used to it because they said that this is the blueprint for the future of the series. all drive and always online will be on the series from now on unless some disaster happen and ea decides to include an offline mode.

If that's the case, I really hope EA does a good job of integrating AllDrive, because honestly, the way it was handled on Rivals (with constant host migration on my side) really made the game less fun to play.

But, looking at their one year break from an annual release, I have high hopes that this upcoming NFS will be much more smoother on launch.

When has this happeed with a NFS game?

Well If it means anything I didn't like how the terminal velocity dlc changed most wanted 2012's online by basically splitting player base for as there was lobbies for people who didn't have terminal velocity dlc and lobbies for people who did and I couldn't join my friend's public lobby cause I didn't have said dlc for it

EA has dumped a massive amount of info for this game, and it amazes me time and time again how much effort has gone into the development. I can see this game becoming a hit amongst fans who loved the older games. The only reason why NFS didn't fail on the PS3 was because of micro transactions and DLC's - from what I've seen, NFS will no longer need to rely on these things to keep afloat.

For the 5 car garage limit, not sure why they did that. Underground 2 had that limit.

Edit: Wrong post...yeah its always online. But I think its because of the Crew career.

Guy on the left, Vaughn Gittin?

Anyway photos from NFS' Twitter. Looks like they held a NFSBuild contest.

Sorry for double posting.

That 991 is the brand new GT3 RS! Awesome!

NFS appears to (at this point) suffer from severe lagging in vehicles, including traffic; it's even seen in Magnus Walker's unlisted 'Icon' video that is embedded on the official website.

Lets put a wing on that wing! How about 2 wings on that wing!? Christ they all look horrible, I hope there is an option to run no wing ;)

It's going to be so difficult to select which cars to have in my 5 slot garage. So many choices. :p

I can see EA releasing a garage slot increase.

My 5 slot garage from what we know so far is:

1. BMW M3 E46
2. Subaru BR-Z
3. Nissan Skyline GT-R R32
4. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR-Edition
5. Empty slot for different cars.
