I posted a screenshot on page 59 where the official NFS Instagram page confirmed the abillity to change the sound system to a user. :) But at least we now have an actual picture of it, if you know what I mean.

Edit:
View attachment 426497Now would you look at DAT.

Well question answered.. No custom vinyls or liveries..just wraps like the crew on top of a base color... *disappointed*

You do a lot of double posting, sir. But I don't wanna blame you. :)

But nice interview, although some of the stuff has already been mentioned elswhere. (I think :boggled:)

Dynamic weather confirmed.

Yep the girl spill the beans

Sorry bro that was a mistake..the girl clearly mentions a green ferrari as an example..dynamic weather confirmed.it looks like she was afraid of answering questions..like she was just tired and all over the place but overall is the same script now adding icons and stuff.

Ken Block doing what Ken Block does best, in Ken Blocks digital Ken Block car! That's so Ken Block!

Yo dude, I heard you like Ken block
So we added Ken block in Ken block so you can do awesome gymkhana skills while you're doing awesome gymkhana.

Seriously thought, other than the gamescom trailers, what did I missed since the E3?

Noo problemo.

I feel like theres been very little gameplay footage (which is weird). Sure theres a few videos of off screen gameplay but not as much as say, Forza 6 or even The Crew Wild Run. When will we see more direct feed? So far its only that one
E3 trailer.

new preview BTW. sorry if this was posted already

When has this happeed with a NFS game?

Pretty much every PS3 era NFS since Undercover onwards has gameplay issues that are not patched by the end of support. In some cases, the few patches that they put out create other problems, which are ignored. All this while they put out 5-6 DLCs over a short timespan, which makes you believe they were cutting out content from the release disc to be sold later. MW 2012 infamously had a shot of the M3 GTR in one of the loading screens, but the car was nowhere to be found in the vanilla release of the game. Sure enough, it showed up later as paid DLC.

This time Ghost has 2 years to finish the game, so I'm hoping there won't be as many bugs and glitches. EA's servers are absolutely terrible from experience, and unless they sort it out it will break the game since it's always online. As for microtransactions, the fact that they put out preorder bonuses already makes me think nothing is going to change on this front.

Any links to the screenshot?

Here it is, the picture used in the loading screen is cropped a bit on top and bottom, but you can still see the M3 GTR behind the Huayra clearly.

I wonder if we get a beta/demo this time. But since Gamescom is almost over and the EA Press Conference has been held, I doubt we'll hear news about a demo or some sort of stuff.

You have a 24 hour demo when the game releases. After all you can refund it before then.

@wvmgmidget May I ask...why? After EA's track record recently?

Also, something we all have seem to forgotten...isn't this game still "always online" and you can't play story offline? Or have they changed the tune of that one secretly?

Why I pre-ordered it or why I question if EA will make a decent game?

I'm guessing the former.

There's really no need to preorder anything. Just wait 1 week for reviews and gameplay videos after the game comes out so you can see what you are getting. If the game is good you don't miss out on anything (let's face it the preorder bonuses would probably be released as DLC later on). If it's a bad game you just saved yourself $60.

This whole preorder culture is telling game companies that they can get customer's money just by putting out flashy screenshots and trailers, irrespective of the actual quality of game. Don't add to the problem peeps 👍

If you are really that keen, that's your choice. I'm just saying there's no logical reason to do so and IMO it's contributing to a lot of Q&A problems in games nowadays.

Yeah I don't see the point in pre-ordering, especially these days when most people just download the games rather than get a physical copy.

Watch totalbiscuit's YouTube video "Should you preorder videogames?" Can't link on mobile but it's a good video on why you shouldn't.
I've seen it before.

In my experience, I have preordered multiple games before and felt satisfied with it. Preordering is practically buying the game the instant it comes out, right? As long as I'm happy with my purchase, I see no problem with it.

I just meant EA games, not pre-ordering in general, I have like 3 games in my roster pre-ordered currently because I trust the devs who make the games (oh and also they are physical collectors editions which I adore)

Why has need for speed never done a physical collectors edtion with like, really high quality die cast metal replica cars like a rocket bunny BRZ or something with all doors and panels working and moving? That would actually be really cool but noooooooooope.
