In terms of land mass, no. In terms of actual driving time between the 2 islands, yes. That is if you're talking about Los Santos and San Fierro individually.Ev0Is it just me, or are Los Santos and San Fierro around the same size as Liberty City?
If you think that's too small to start, read this quote from TurboLevin2NV:ExigeExcelI still think it is abit small j/k.
I have this game, too. I thought the city was too big for starter, but I think that was the case because of the gameplay. If the gameplay was similar to Vice City, then it would be good. If San Andreas is this size, I will like it. Another reason it wouldn't be bad in San Andreas is the fact that the surrounding environment is more interactive. There is ALOT more stuff to do, and this size would be just right for San Andreas.TurboLevin2NV15 minutes between cities.....that might be just like True Crime. I recently rented that game again to perform an expirment. I did a highway run, spanning from top left to top right corner. I used the fastest car I could find, going full throttle non-stop. It took me 19 minutes and 43 seconds. Tedious, very tedious. Although GTA SA will be different I can garuntee.
I think that it will stick out a little bit. My guess all along has been that Las Venturas will be a little smaller than the other cities, and that the Desert will be smaller than the Countries.ExigeExcelThat looks about right. You think the Las venturas bit will just square off that top right part of the map? Or do you think it will stick out abit?
I doubt it includes Refuelling time. But I actually can't wait for that feature. I'm obsessed with realism, as is Blake. So that sort of stuff just makes us itch for this game hard.ExigeExcelPerhaps the 15 minutes includes refueling time ?
I don't think it would be all bad. I think the travel between each city was timed with a nice gentee cruise. If you really need to get somewhere, then a fast car and a hell of a drive will get you there much quicker I suspect. But I like having to travel a fair distance to get somewhere else. On True Crime it was crap, because all of the city looked the same. Yet, San Andreas will be very interactive. Plus I still think there will be Passenger flights at each airport. It's just a guess, but why wouldn't they. It would be just the same as the trains in GTA 3: Get on the plane and then you go to a cutscene. I'll be fine with that.TurboLevin2NVIf that fifteen minutes between cities is true....looks like those planes will be used a helluva lot more than I initially thought.
I sure hope they add Las Venturas on their Official Site soon, because I want to do this update. Noone else better do it, or else!
