I hope there are some day-one patch shenanigans going on here.

If some of the cut tracks don't show up there, T10 has some 'splaining to do.

Dan Greenawalt already has. The explanation is that a lot of the tracks are either wrong, have changed a lot since they were first introduced to the series, or they would not meet the next-gen standards that Turn-10 has. For all of the real world tracks, Turn-10 wants to go back and laser scan them before they can go back into Forza. So when we eventually get the Nurburgring again, at least it will be 100% accurate.

Interesting read, but lacking in some basic areas, Hey Dan, how many tracks and how many cars are planned for this installment, we really would like to know. I finally drove the Nurb enough to breathe while I'm on it, and now I have to wait for it. Lawd help me! :dopey:

Did you actually read the article, or just the headline? Because this is clearly spelled out in the article.

Actually omgitbees, I did read it, there will be more than 200 cars (not referenced and more than 14 tracks) when you include dlc. I was asking about the finish, not the start.

Weird cause I'd rather have 16 brand spanking newly digitised tracks and the old ports from FM4.
No tsukuba, mugello, suzuka, hockenheim, nurb+others.

I suppose you saw nothing wrong with GT6's car list then

I feel bad for the drifters and dragsters. Not ONE single track for them to enjoy. That's not even fair, now everyone is stuck only racing on GT tracks... Yeah theres that Alps track, but that's no better than Tsukuba and others that were cut.

This is obviously a rush job. It will be fun as a diversion but a little disappointed, especially at the loss permanently of multiple screens. :(

Where has this been confirmed?

Looking at the track list by BADNED, do we know the remaining 3 tracks as I count 11 out of the 14 on his list.

Oh my goodness....

It hasn't. He comes back with this every few days. He has no source, he's speculating.

FM5 may or may not have triple screen support.

It won't unfortunately. :(
I hope you can all point and laugh at me in a couple weeks, but I'm not optimistic.

I can't really say I'm able to help by smacking you with my optimism bat. I lost my optimism, the optimism bat worked on me somehow. Came with a minor concussion.

If you admit you don't know, why do you keep telling people it won't?

Because I do know. Just the eternal optomist in me tries to wish it wasnt.

As far as not a lot of people caring about it? Not a lot of people care about using a steering wheel vs. A controller, but they spent a lot of money developing that.

You don't take away features, you just don't. Especially features that make the game so much better. It's obvious that none of you have experienced a great three projector session of Forza, GT5, or PC racing, because going back to a single narrow image is like playing with horse blinders on.

I'm not downplaying a 3-screen setup. I'll have one once I have the space for a rig.

Maple Valley has been in the drift history of Forza. Those flowing corners... WHY? WHY? So many memories of that track.

To drift around it was ok, I can think of better tracks, but it was terrible to race around

Or that some of us have experienced playing with three screens, but just choose not to buy into your BS about "a friend of a friend whose dog walker once met a priest who shook the hand of an accountant who did the taxes for the greengrocer that sold Dan Beardawalt his blueberries told me that triple screens are out".

Source or shut up.
