Hey doctor you r so funny did you know?
I said not important to me at all. Back to your nice topic.

Not only does the hands come off, it also takes too long for the driver in the game to change gears.my only concern is the paddle animation in the gallardo, the hands still come off...
Seriously I have a 5.1 system, not very expensive...it's not even an entry level, (harman kardon avr 147 + JBL 200.5) but it sounds GREAT for music/bd movies/games. I feather the accelerator pedal and at low revs the tuned 370z souns like a monster. My subwoofer goes nuts (my neighbors too)!
I'm sorry, but paddle shift animation is not well done... they have to work on that!
Unless you want the game to come out next year, I think what you see is what you are getting.![]()
You think PD would let this be in the final version? I thought they were well-known for being perfectionists.
That's just a claim by themselves. You think PD would let this be in the final version? I thought they were well-known for being perfectionists.
It's really, really happening now boys!

I'm sorry, and no offense intended. But are you ** kidding me? I think its a bit insulting to try to throw PD's credibility under the bus when the game is clearly in a league of its own when it comes to perfectionism, unless you're actually thinking that it means they will literally produce a perfect flawless product? Is this really where you're going to start having doubts on PD's abilities? With a shift animation?
Sometimes I feel haters will just hate, but then at times like this, I really just question a persons perception of reality here. You have GT5, a damn near photorealistic game with as close to perfect renditions of tracks and vehicles, amazing lighting, amazing visuals, amazing 1080p performance, and you're really willing to ignore all that and focus on a shift animation as to discredit their reputation? Its like focusing on the shape of a door handle on a beautiful car.
I'm just glad I can see GT5 with the eyes that I have. Looks better than any car game created when it comes to car porn. Thats pretty much all I expect from GT, and those expectations never fall short. What other game is doing what GT is doing at 1080p 60fps/1000 vehicles/16 that you're comparing it to? And then would you give up all of what GT has to offer to get that shift animation? Its a bit ridiculous imo & its a shame to be hung up on it.
Ok, you know what... I will stop saying anything until it comes out. It's usefulness speak about demos. That's all.
I'm not quite sure what you mean in your statement sorry. Demos are used to promote their respective games, usually if a demo is release near to the expected release date there is not alot of difference. Only thing is we don't have a release date officially so there will be a lot of speculation.
i agree Nordschleife is the sams as in GT4..There is only trees shadows difference between Gt4 and gt5..Indianapolis same as GT TT demo too..Whats going on?
He wouldn't have to, but he could do the current movement A LOT quicker, instead of releasing the wheel, wait for the shift, perform the shift, then wait another couple of tenths of a second before grabbing the wheel again. Just looks too stiff and none dynamic.Do you realize how difficult it would be to graphically simulate the driver sliding his hand down the wheel to perform a shift? Without going through the pillars of the steering wheel? Do some research on 3d animation before you start to complain. There are some things that just AREN'T possible.

EDIT: And when on a straight, he doesn't have to come off the wheel at all.
I rather have it less realistic, so that the hands never come off then...Yes, but how does the car know you are going into a straight, and that the player won't jerk the wheel all of a sudden. Are you suggesting that PD program every animation for every vehicle to know when it is in a turn and when it is in a straight? Does the animation know the exact moment the player will shift? If they set the animation to start after the player shifts then it will be late, and the animation will happen after the shift takes place. By having the hand out and ready they can decrease the response time between the actual shift by the player and the activation of the finger flick shifting animation. There is rhyme and reason to it. You just have to stop complaining long enough to ask yourself, "why would they do that?"
I rather have it less realistic, so that the hands never come off then...
They better include an option to remove the driver from cockpit view.
