Not quite new to GT4(having it now for like 18months), and not new to drifting, but new to this side of the board.. Still want to say Hi to everyone :)

Hey. My name is Eric. I'm from London, Ontario, Canada (read my profile for more). I'm not really new to GTP but new to drifting. Drifting is not as easy as it sounds. I'm not really sure how to drift and so I practice on the rally courses. I will be looking around for some advice and tips on how to drift and stuff, so I'm not asking any questions in this thread, :). But if anyone has tips and suggestions feel free to let me know. Ciao for now guys and gals :)

Hi there

My name is Christopher and I'm from France (in the south =)).
I'm new in GTP and this Drifting section either. :)
I discovered this forum when I looked for drifting techniques.
I started with cars like the Supra, RX-7 FD, FC, but it wasn't really that. Now i really enjoy driving the Skyline R34 as well as the AE86. (well, all this because of Initial D, like a lot of other people i guess).

Cu. =)

ok, so I'll introduce myself too :dunce:

hi :dopey: Im from Prague, Czech Republic, and Im into drifting for quite some time now... about a year ago, i borrowed GT2 from a friend and I simply had to go buy a PS2+GT4 pack the next day :sly:
great game, what else can I say :) (well, driving in real life is even more better but still GT4 is a lot of fun :dunce: )

Hey all i'm TYP-27R and i am brand new to this site, i've been loyal to GT since #1 and loyal to drift. This site is great for info on settings, records and the photo comp pics are pretty awesome. I've got one question but i don't know where to ask so i'll just ask: is there 2 player for vegas strip in GT4??

Keep up the good work GTP!!

I'm completely new to the site but not to GT. As you can tell, I love the AE86. But I have no idea how to drift. Can I find out on this site? GT4 rules.

Helloo! I've just joined GTP and I'm pleasantly suprised that its not just me who drifts on GT4. I've had all the gran turismo's and found the lastest one the best for hanging the tail out. I've been frifting for ages and now the logitech steering wheel and pedals for GT4 have greatly improved my skill. At the momment i use my Trueno for my drift car. Its the most balanced and driftable car i know, making it easy with practice to drift for long periods of time, although i need to point out that it is slightly tuned.:)

hello i'm SouthSideSlider(aka SSS) i came here after being banned from IDW GT forums for not being able to provide proof of a lap time was was too fast. I was known as R33GTRDrifter. I specilize in the R33 and anyother RB26DETT based car or any car with the Attessa ETS and the GT-R tag. i make top notch runs and drifts that are near perfect on GT4. a pic right here is alittle proof by the way i don't post pics of drifts that failed aka crashed spun or otherwise..

othewr than that i plan on bringging everything that i am here and not holding back like on IDW. for anyone who says R33s suck watch and learn what a R33 can do...

Hey I'm Samuraiguy and I'm New (Obviously) and i joined GTP cause i love drifting and GT4 and because cars in general are my kinda thing. I started difting in GT4 not to long ago and i am loving it completely. Right now i've been trying different cars to see what ones i have a fancy for. I've been practicing alot lately so hopefully i'll add some pictures soon ^_^

I'm new to these threads even though I've been registered for a bit. :dopey:
I can drift but not in ANY way like Sheron or many others I can't seem to think of. I only have a Dualshock 2 controller and no DFP.... Would a DFP help me at all anyway? Question aside, I'm new to drifting (kinda *even though i already posted settings*:) ) and I'm new to the forums! 👍

which ever you learn to drift with

because i started with a DFP and cant drift at all with the DS2

Hey ive been a member for probably a couple years but haven't gotten into posting anything... I have been able to usually find what info i'm looking for by just searching old threads... I was a big time gt3 drifter and have moved on to gt4. I'm still trying to figure out the right settings for my style and right now i'm just using default with all the computer aids turned off... I read here once to drive all the time with the aids off and it will make you a better driver. I'm really starting to get the weight shifting down and i'm looking forward to finding the perfect drift settings... See you all around,
Peace :dopey:

Hey yall, I have had GT4 since it came out. I just got into to drifting, and than I saw a cool vid on Google about GT4 drifting, so...... here I am. Im not great at drifting yet, but Im having fun. Im trying to learn on a Nismo 270R (180sx).

lo all got nothing to show for myself I am Brand New just out of the box im a dual shock 2 drifter but am considering getting a logitech dfp should i get it and will it be easy to convert my skills ? ill post a vid some time in the first drift vid section watch and give me some feed back. p.s i currently have a fanatec speedster wheel or fannytec s***ster as i like to call it feels really bad to use is that just the feel u get from sterring wheels give me some feedback plz.

Hey, im Jake and im not new to drifting, but perfect. Im gonna post up my Drift starter guide soon, I find it easier to use than BL's Honda guide. My favourite car is my old shape RX-7, really easy to drift. I also have a skyline, which is harder to drift.

Im practising.
