Sup everyone, here is another drifter for the list... sadly however, i don't have my ps2 right now, so im grounded.

No fun! :grumpy:

Where's your PS2?

An uncle borrowed it since his son is at college and he took his ps2 with him. He's supposed to send it back soon. I bought gt3 for $3 a month ago- never played it. Bought a udes GT4 for $17 a week ago and im dying to play it. Nobody's house to go to, so I'm stuck.

hi peeps Im 13 and have been playin gran turismo since the age of six i luv dis game :) i drive a levin and a trueno hachi roku

i know i read the thread all the way up top, where it say look before asking how to drift on gt4, but i need to no now grip driving gets kind of boring after doing it for 9 years(im a veteran gran turismo racer since i was 6)

Hey my name is Zeb and I've been to this site a few times before but never posted.

I've been heavily into drifting in GT since GT3 when I used an X540 Chaser and an SR20DET S13 and any other car that's not FWD. It's definitely a little more realistic in GT4.

I've got 100% in Concept, Prologue and GT4 with about 70 golds. 90%+ in all others but haven't played the one on PSP.

I'm 16 and am from Dunedin in New Zealand and drive a '75 Datsun 260c (230 series), RWD with a bit of power so likes to get sideways in the rain but is a bit tricky in the dry.

All my cars in GT are set up for drifting, all my replays are of drifting and all my thousand photos are of drifting so I guess it's appropriate that I'm into RWD Nissans.

I can sortof drift. I dont want to spend a million dollars on drifting so i use a BP Falcon RX7 tuned and i need some help on turn in and insane drifts... ya... intresting

DreamDrifter

Oh yeah, I had a copy GT4 booked for well over a year and bought it less than 5 minutes after it came out. I also had time off school to play it, it's nice to have parents that understand how much you like something. :sly:

Best Nurburgring time: 5:11. Highest speed 565km/h

New here. well, sort of. I was working way too many hours. and no time for playing. recently got some down time.

Looking for local GT4 players to host LAN.

Thanks folks.

Sup everyone, ima noobie to the gtp just signed up and hope to get good at this drift scene. Had gt4 for a while now, only been grip driving and just newly introduced to drifting. Driving a completely maxxed out FC RX 7 and have no clue how to tune, I go by the feel. Hoping to get input from everyone here.

 Late Registration here.

Well i smell GT online comin for the PS3 and i know there's gonna be a bunch of Drifters there and well...i decided to join in the fun! Nice to see other drifters here too. I'll hopefully learn how to drift before GT online. So sup, fresh starter here. :)

Hello all!

I'm new and its nice to meet you all and as well for this forum. :dopey:

I got drifting down pretty good, all I need now is the GT4 Logitech Wheel. :nervous:

Robo, iDrifter have fun! :)

BTW, the wheel will change your entire game ;)

Well i've been a car guy for years, and ontop of that a huge GT fan sicne the begining, always looking for the most realist games out there, Gt won it, haha,
...But yeah IM into all forms of road racing, Le Mans, D1, JGTC etc.
Inital D fan as well, cheers to the AE86 S.S. edition and the Sleighty.
I switch off from DFP and DS2, so i know where everyone comes from with this technqiue and the others, I focus mainly on pure performance, to the max points with every car i design and build in the game, as well as the one si tune in real life, be it that its alittle easier in the game than in life, haha....
High horsepower, max grip, lightened weight, etc.

I have a few drift spec vehicles in my bays, but some of my favs are...
My FD3S "The demon" most recently known as "The Demon Drifter"
its a 500+ HP Twin Turbo Wankell Rotary from hell, The car itself has maxed out stats, being i bought every possible part for it, it even has rims off a Buick Grand National, big Rear SPoiler too, needs it, I originaled designed this beauty for racing, it holds the turns extremly well, then i used the second slot for drag racing, threw in some nitrious (i typically frown on spray) made it quick on the quater, and most recently i've used the third slot for Drifting, though i tuned it for grip yet again only lowering the tires to N2, reduced the down force a tad, its insane how it drifts, i even slapped on some R1's to show grip is still a drifters friend, burnt them up a bit and managed to get a pretty well angled drift around the inside flat of the first turn on the test track, muahaha, pretty nutz, but these were all playful or experaments with cars, im glad to see a community for GT4 drifting i can mess into, keep an eye out for me when i start running videos

Macro = User made shortcut.

I've noticed that all the new drifters that post in here don't post much :)

Hello i started drifted in GT4 in a home-setted (no copied settings from this site :)) RX-7 FC with 410 hp. Its a good car to drift but it's gets annoying sometimes coz, it just gets annoying :)

Do u know anythin about how to stop my car slowing down so much and going to the inside of the corner? also should my suspension be on a high or low spring rate? THKS

I'm not an expert at all on drifting but I think you should have the spring set on stiff side, because you don't want the car rolling from side to side.

@ Mdnlte - well yeah, less than 20% of the total members who join here ever stay and contribute. They just join for sake of feeling that they're part of a community.
