Hello everyone! I have never drifted a FR car in real life but I have fun crashing into walls learning on GT4. I have gotten sideways with my R32 a couple of times but I have to get a few parts to make it really drift. I plan to get an AE86 or possibly a S15 from Japan to learn to drift in real life. For now I just get my fix with getting sideways with my S13 on GT4. :)

Welcome R32. I got a chuckle out of your introduction.

Lots of new guys. That's great!

Get involved in the GTPDC and the DPC's that are going on RIGHT NOW! :)

Aye, where to start. Got the game about a week or two after watching Initial D on winamp, it had reminded me of a few fond memories I had playing racing games (been playing mmo's and fps' since I was about 10). So I decided I wanted to attempt in teh least to learn to drift somewhat been reading on here for awhile when I saw the link in a guys sig on gamefaqs. With that said I'm trying to learn drifting in a Trueno 86 <.< >.> I have a bad habbit of liking stuff main chars use in animes, can't really drift in it yet as I've been atempting to fient drift on manual and automatic with no aids on trial mountain since it reminds me of the Akina course in the show.

I've only been able to drift somewhat with a Lan Evo and Imprezza using the handbrake but the drift doesn't last long enough for me to enjoy it really but its useful enough for beating some friends on Clubman 5, I also got the various '86 drift configs on here saved for experimenting for when I get a chance (and money) to finish buying the last few parts I need. So here I am.

Oh, one last thing, I take it is disabled since my sig on preview doesn't show up T_T

edit: noticed typos

Welcome, Metty. AE86 fan, eh? Might wanna come check out my vids, both of them are straight up S.S. AE86. ~Drift King~ has an AE86 drifting vid as well :)

Yo! Wassup! I registered a while ago . . . about a week. I was always into the racing and drifting scene, and everything about it. one day, bored like hell, i decided to youtube "Drift". I was amazed on how many videos were about "Gran Turismo" driftin, and less of "Real Life" driftin. After a lot of internet searching i came across this site and the HUNDREDS of drfit setting for pretty much ALL of my favorite cars. After one setting on "Gran Turismo 3" I got hooked! Setting after setting, car after car, drift after drift, i found my self spending days without sleep. Countless ammounts of money on parts, cars, not to mention real money on a GT Force Driving Wheel. Soon I purchased "Gran Turismo 4" and, well, been playin both ever since.

C-West Razo Silvia 👍

Welcome All

i was just looking through the thread and found many new drifters ask questions without anyone answering.

if you have any questions dealing with drifting problems such as snapback and spin outs and stuff
just ask away:)

i can help with that but i suck at making good settings:crazy:

hi there fellow drifters.im new to this site and joined up a couple of days ago .ive been drifting on gt4 for quite along time now and i use a nissan silvia spec-r aero (s15) o and btw thanks for the welcoming.where do i go to post the settings for my drift car ? thanks.I do have other drift cars of course but my silvia is the best.

Excellent, lots of new members. Get involved guys. But PLEASE, READ the stickies before posting new threads. It'll be easier for you and you'll become better, faster ! :)

Welcome come on in and get involved.

Only been playin gt4 for a few days. Most cars are 350+kw with full race suspension just lower and harder. Few pics...

Thats about it... enjoy.

Btw I can see why Golfs are so popular for family men in the real world; they're so nimble. DB9 is just plain terrible. RX7 is very touchy although I still learnt on it. Lexus is most forgiving so far.

Hey guys, im not new to GT4 but after getting 100% twice already i thought i would give drifting a go. So you can expect me to get posting quite alot around here.

gaz.
