The front end still reminds me of the VW bug, and that is a good thing. They should remember their humble roots.. :p

As with the 997, I didn't like it until I saw it in person. Saw a 991 cruising down Wabash in Chicago....what a beautiful car.

Yeah, I wonder if it's possible to just have the ducktail.

Not a fan of the 991 cars so far. Not really a Porsche fan for that matter. I think the only one I wouldn't mind having is a Cayman R...

Porsche 911, except for the 996 models, are the only models I'm interested in. This new 991 models looks superb.

Its been stretched too much. Looks like a sitting dachshund from the side..

They're probably only testing the aero affects of a rear wing - after all it is a spy shot. So maybe the final product will have the GT2/GT3 double spoiler.

I think the RS will follow the RS 4.0 versions wing, since Porsche is the master of copy, redevelop and tweak in styling.

Pics for the lazy.

Actually, the design of the LEDs on the front bumper look kind of weird, doesn't flow well with the design of the whole car. The only flaw I can find so far...

This 991 is taking me some getting used to. It's soooo long and goofy looking.

I disagree. The length makes the lines flawless for me.

It's actually no longer (well, only an inch or so) than the 997 it replaces. The extended wheelbase and slightly lower height just make it visually appear longer.

I'd like to see them bring back the '80s style taillights on these things.

I don't think that'll really work, plus the taillights on the 991 look fantastic.

Don't get me wrong, they look great as the are, but I'd kind of like to see something with a more retro approach, kind of like how Ford did with the Mustang, but keeping everything modernized.

I'm not seeing any "New"...

The wheelbase is longer, the headlamps are more stretched, new bumper, same styled roofline but the rear taillights are longer and thinner. If you can't see any new you're not trying hard enough!
