Ok, this is from the VW Vision GTI thread. (posted by @Roswellito)This image was featured on the Top Gear site too...

Don't know if it's GT6 or just a render, but the bridge looks very cool.

I'm willing to bet anything outside of the GT Engine.

I was taking a closer look at the image and the lighting looks like some Global Illumination solution typical from 3d renderers.

And I may probably had created a useless thread. Damn.

First thought is maybe PD have decided to update Grand Valley Speedway, The bridge is the first thing that hit me, If the source of the photo is from VW themselves its entirely possible it could be an in game photo that's been heavily edited, Just look in the photomode section for what people can do even with a crap starting photo.

Route SSRX below. Doesn't look like it at all really. My guess is it is a render and nothing to do with any tracks or DLC or anything! (Because I don't want to get my hopes up!) We've seen renders and track stuff before that's never been added to the game. Esp recently with the videos of cars racing at photomode locations.

For all we know that image may be from a GT running on the PS4.

Looks very detailed and nothing we've ever seen in GT6 CGI.

The lightning effect is very different from the GT6 CGI i've seen so far so i don't think that image is running on the GT6 engine.

It's possible that the artist first rendered the scene out from a 3d program, with the two cars and bridge stationary, then in post process added motion with Photoshop or some other editing software. Then again PD likes bridges, so could also be a new location, though I'm waying in on the side it being some artist advertising work.

There doesn't appear to be anyone actually in the cars, which doesn't strike me as the sort of thing PDI would do in an action shot of the cars actually driving.

Ah, yes, now that I look at it, there is a dark, shapeless lump in the driver seat of each car (which just looked like the headrest at first). Either way, the lighting looks wrong, the reflections look wrong, what little can be seen of the drivers look wrong, and I would expect a GT watermark to appear if it was a GT-related render.

I think it's just some VW promo CGI unrelated to GT.

Or maybe that's exactly what they wanted us to think...
