👍👍👍
And for people who use my tunes, I would like some feedback and suggestions 👍 good luck everyone

Have tried out the tunes for the Yellowhat Supra, at least 8 cars pitted on the 2nd lap, way before it started raining on the 6th lap, it was only me and the cars in 1st and 2nd, the 2nd car was the lexus Ec430 i think, and that was no problem to pass, but the Xanavi Nismo 350z kept evading me as i almost spun out a bit, passed him on the 8th, and he pitted on the 9th , gave me an overall lead by about 1 minute, i could see the car in last place as i finished it, almost lapped him! Was a great tune, car ws unbelievably fast and pretty good on handling, will try out your Tuner Car tune now!

And just to let everyone know, I am always here to help out. If you want a car for this event, I can tune it. Just post on the thread and I will try to take care of it 👍

Got any ideas for the ARTA NSX for the 600PP Suzuka race? :) (It gets rather squirelly in the rain.)

A lot of cars are squirrelly in the rain. Try a rear toe of about 0.10 or 0.15 and rear camber of about 2.0 or 2.5

Wow, I didn't think you'd reply that quickly. :) Before I saw this, I bought that YellowHat Supra and tried your tune. Wow. It's like I was on a different track. :) If I hadn't boneheadedly spun—twice—on lap 5 and ended up in the sand, I totally would've had it. (As it was, I got 2nd again, by about 12 seconds IIRC). Anyway, great tune. Damn thing is ugly but quite effective!

I'm giving my hands a rest but I'll take another crack at it tomorrow. Probably in "your" Supra first before I tweak the NSX—it was just too unpleasant to drive compared to that Supra.

EDIT: Yep, nailed it! Won by 9.7 seconds. Awesome tune on that Supra!

NOTES:
This is one of my favorite cars in the game. Although it has a little understeer in fast sections (because of no front downforce), the 4WD really helps in the more technical sections. I won this race by over 1min30sec, so you should have no trouble winning with this car 👍

It works!! thank youuu!! :)

I was able to do the first three -- well --- several times
GT500: Suzuka -- Honda Weider HSV, Tom's Supra
Tuned Car: Nürburgring -- HPA FT565, GT-R Black edition Tuned'12, Audi R8 4
(the 4WD cars give a little better control in the rain on the 'Ring)
700PP Racing Cars: Spa -- Mazda 787B

However, my skill set just isn't good enough to get the C7 around Nürburgring any better than Silver 8:01. I'll keep trying but frustration sets in pretty quickly after many attempts. It is an Expert-level challenge, and I'm not there.
What bugs me is that I was able to complete all GTA events with gold and feel that this shouldn't present any greater challenge than those. Must be a mind thing.:grumpy:

The problem is that it's a 7 something minute LAP, and one error kills it.

Hey Shoe, the lambo tune doesnt seem to work with me, i guess im just not that great a driver, and it never rains for me, i was in "your" lambo and i was still about 40 seconds off the main guy! I even tried to use his Amuse S2000GTI Turbo, and still not even close i dont get it -__- Tried the 'ring with a cerbera speed 12 even...got 100 more hp than any other car, yet 8th place by the 2nd lap and no where close to 1st, you could say i gave up, do you have a tune for a Lexus LFA? or the Mclaren MP4-12C? I have no idea to tuning when it comes to suspension or transmission so if you could that would be mighty helpful! All the best

Give me the Horsepower, downforce, height, width, length, weight, weight displacement, and torque for the Mclaren. I am not at home right now, and probably won't be for another two days. If you give me those specs, I can work it out on paper and give you a basic suspension and LSD setting that should help you out.

Try to tune a Citroen gt by Citroen road car.i won the race using that car

Shoe, the specs for the car are as follows :
666hp/7500rpm, 494ft-lb/7000rpm, 4509mmL, 1908mmW, 1199mmH, 1350kg, dont have any cc's for displacement if thats what you mean, when i go to the ballast section, is says weight balance is 43 at the front, 57 at the back if thats it. No current aero kit so no downforce i guess

EDIT: Car is stock except for a High RPM Range Turbo Kit, RM tires, and a fully custom transmission kit that i havent touched

Look on GTP here for a tutorial on transmission setting. There are a million 'how to' threads for transmission. Also, try RS tires instead. I will work a suspension setting on paper and post it here. Give me a few mins though.

Thanks for all your help, i cant wait to reel in 1.5 million dollars with the login bonus, have to make up for the money i spent on that supra.. :(

Ok, for the Mclaren try this to begin

Ride Height- 0/-5
Spring Rate- 8.5/13.5
Extension- 5/8
Compression- 3/5
Anti Roll Bar- 2/5
Camber- 2.0/1.5
Toe- -0.15/0.05

Torque- 15
Acceleration- 30
Braking- 25

Let me know how that feels, use the power limiter and ballast to get 600pp. Post on here how it feels (under steer, over steer, etc). Then you can handle the transmission and brake balance. 👍 good luck

The McLaren handled pretty well for a 666hp car haha, the PP is at 580 so no need for the ballast or power limiter, however there is quite a bit of understeer, and the braking i guess needs to be higher since it takes a while for it to brake but like 3 seconds to get to 100kph :p the front spring rate didnt go to 8.5, so i put it at its lowest, 10, is it the suspension or transmission that should be changed? Thanks again Shoe!

EDIT: Also reached a top speed of 317kph on the long straightaway as you approach the end of the 'ring, i'd say the overall track time was around 7 minutes, but im not too sure, done on the practice setting without the god awful AI and the penalties. Also, SDF was turned on to simulate how it would run during the Event.

Move the rear spring to 15.5 and the anti roll bar in the rear to 6

alright, taking on the event! Will update on how it goes
1st try ended up with me going on inters, getting up to 11th by the 2nd lap and having multiple spinnouts :(

Yeah its no good, it keeps swinging, and serving like a pendulum, way too many penalties that say "short cut" even though its just my car swervin

Currently in 3rd, despite some setbacks, and 41 seconds into the final lap with lap 1 at 7:30.360 and lap 2 at 7:12.028, i'd say about 1 km behind the 2nd car and 1.5 km behind the first...wonder if i can catch up

Finally finished almost 12 seconds behind the S2000 GTI and barely passed the CT230R, but i'll take it, i've run this too many times haahha

If a tune could be made by anyone using the Zonda R for Spa Francorchamps 700pp race, that would be great! Not really looking forward to blowing rougly 5.5 million on a car i'll use once :(

say i need help, some suggestion or anything for tuned cars nurburgring

Yes, as some guys have pointed out (reply below your request from the Shoe) there are some good tunes/suggestions floating around.
None of which helped me I might add. but that's just me, or more likely, my style.

Something to note (?) and I could be entirely looking at this wrong, but to me, the 'Ring got easier the more goes I attempted.
That IS stating the obvious I know, but my final attempt was a dry run. Did it easy on RS using the RE RX7 (blue car) which is underpowered to the tune of approx 570PP from memory??
I think the % of rain may have hit 5%, but the rain stayed away. :)
If it did rain, I missed it.
Anyone else had a dry run?

This is how I did the New Year's Challenge:
Suzuka: Xanavi Nismo GT-R (Race Softs; just a little wet, no problem);
Nordschleife: Mine's BNR34 Skyline N1 (Intermediates; max 40% wet, no problem);
Spa: Jaguar XJR9 (Intermediates; max 81% wet, which is slippery).
All cars stock.

On the Nordschleife and Spa a won by a minute or so.
Not because I'm that good, but because the AI is dead slow in the rain ;)

Those races were fun though 👍

Just finished the rest of these yesterday. :)

As stated earlier I won Spa in the MkIV Ford on inters because the AI is rubbish in the wet.

For the Nurb. one I used an unrestricted version of my Ford GT (599pp) used in S2 of DCRL's FIA GT1 World championship. Won by a mile as I blasted everything else away on the straight. :indiff:

For Suzuka it was a bit closer. I bought the Petronas Lexus as it's the best looking Super GT. Started on Racing Hards and used them 'til the end. By the end of lap 8 I had 26 seconds lead and should have pit for inters. Stupidly I decided I could brave the last 2 laps. :ouch: Literally crawled around and won by less than 10 seconds. :scared:

Before you go onto the track - look at the rain on track icon and see if that goes up or down before picking what tyres you want to start on - it helps - if going up - put inters on - if down - dry softs etc

I don't get how everyone is winning the 'Ring, it never works for me even though my car always has like 100 more hp than the others and rasonable stats... It never rains for me either usually only 5% :( what a bad day

Well, here is a tune I made for the 700pp SPA race.

Mazda 787b '91 (Premium)

NOTES:
This car is unbelievably fun, fast, and easy to drive. In the dry it sticks to the track so well that you can take the downhill s-bend at full throttle. Great car. Managed a win on my FIRST TIME EVER DRIVING SPA by 1min13sec 👍

Here is a tune for the Tuned Car Race.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 '08 (Premium)

Thanks for these 2 tunes; really helped me out at these tracks. The Gallardo doesn't have a little understeer though....it has it in buckets full!!! At least it made it easy to hang the back end out around some corners.

Try the Mine's BNR34 Skyline from the new car dealership (no tune needed).
It has around 600pp, is incredibly fast and handles very well because of his 4WD.
Even when it was relatively dry I got closer fast to the AI.

Suzuka- The new Honda Weider or what ever that's called. (DLC)

Nords- Tomy Kaira ZZ II fully optioned. (4wd +wet race) Won by 10 sec or more. Used Racing Softs for this one.

Spa- R35 TC. (DLC) on Intermediates. Adapted a Praiano tune to max out the car and won by over 1 minute.
