Yeah it's funny but it's nothing compared to LeBatard's rant on the Heat when they signed LeBron.

I want to say this before anything starts just in case I'm right.

I'm expecting good things from Detroit this year. I'm not saying there will be a definite playoff birth, but I do believe that we will see vast improvements. I like the big name talent on the team and I think they will make a turn-around. I am already impressed with their first game this year. Thought the did win it, but I'm not going to get into that. I think they have a great receiving core and some stars on defense.

**** YEAH!!!! DOLPHINS DEFENSE IS FREAKING AWESOME!

Our offensive playcalling is shameful, but god damn what a show by the defense.

Damn, man... we played like crap at the Redskins, but a late rally to take the game into Overtime at 27-27, and we ended up winning 30-27. The Texans' first ever Overtime victory (1-6-0 all time in Overtime) on the road when we played like crap. We're 2-0 and coming home to host the Dallas Cowboys. You can call this one the Texas State Championship.

WHAT A GAME! Texans absolutely vindicated from their poor play today.

J-E-T-S! Great win by the Jets. Next week we go down to the Fins. It should be a good game hopefully we can beat them this year.

Too many poor decision by the Hawks today. Hasselbeck threw a few that he shouldn't have which led to a big loss. I was still impressed the defense through the loos because of their ability to still make stops on players for either a loss or short of the marker late in the game.

Saints at 49ers tonight! Saints' super-easy schedule takes them to beautiful San Francisco (yet at a dull stadium). Who takes the win tonight in the Bay Area?

Saints. If the niners can't beat the seahawks surely they can't beat the Saints.

The way the Steelers defense is playing, they could win with me playing quarterback. What a display against Tennessee.

This looks like the 2008 Super Bowl defense all over again.

Two words: Troy Polamalu. That guy IS your defense.

Favre isn't getting much support from fans, it's to be expected when your excuse for having a crap game is "I haven't had time to gel with my teammates" when you didn't even bother showing for training camp.

As the saying in Minnesota the last few years goes "at least we have the Twins".👍

To the Denver Bronco who was found dead recently, my thoughts and prayers go out to his friends, family, and the Broncos' organization. My Texans actually will play at the Broncos towards the end of this season.

Brian Cushing is already in NFL trouble with the substance abuse deal. Now, add Duane Brown to that list, as he's serving a four-game suspension himself. We don't need any distractions like these as we're playing our best football in team history. We got the Cowboys at Reliant Stadium this weekend. I'm certain it will be on FOX since most of our games are usually on CBS.

Only if they win the division because the NFC East is down this year.

Here are some of the games for this weekend:

* Cowboys at Texans
* Bengals at Panthers (cat fight!)
* Browns at Ravens
* Steelers at Buccaneers
* Eagles at Jaguars
* Redskins at Rams
* Chargers at Seahawks
* Colts at Broncos
* Jets at Dolphins (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
* Packers at Bears (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

Besides the battle for Texas bragging rights, I really like the Jets/Dolphins matchup. Many people are saying the Cowboys at Texans game is the hottest ticket this weekend. All I know is that this is Miami's best chance to show the nation that Miami is a certifiable threat to win the AFC East. And if they can beat the Jets, it can go a LONG way. Miami currently leads the AFC East and are the only unbeaten team in the AFC East. The Jets and Patriots are both at 1-1, and the Bills are 0-2.

I want to close this post by mentioning Dallas at Houston. Basically... you're either a Cowboys fan or a Texans fan. The fear that I have is that the recent drug suspensions (as well as Andre Johnson's questionable ankle injury) could be deterrents in how well the Texans can actually be. I thought last year that the Texans could have honestly finished 12-4 last season. The big deterrent last year was Kris "Money" Brown going bankrupt on potential tying or winning field goal kicks. I surely want Neil Rackers to rack up some clutch field goals. While I can't share what some people have said, Texans fans have made jokes about the Cowboys (some call them the Cowgirls) going 0-3. Desperation to get a win will surely drive Dallas to take down their rivals from down south. As long as the Texans are solid on both sides of the ball and execute when it matters and play a complete game, we can win this one.

Enjoy this weekend's games!

Let me put it this way... I'm not an active Texan's fan, but I hate Dallas. Go Texans!

On another note, I'M GOING TO THE SEAHAWKS GAME!! Good tickets too, about 20 or so rows up parallel to the goal line.

Well, the Texans lost their first game of the season. We lost 27-13 at the hands of the Cowboys. The Texans just didn't show up. The mindset I hate is when people look at this game like this is the Super Bowl. It's NOT the Super Bowl! This was a rivalry game, but it's not like this is Duke vs. North Carolina.

Well, I hope this inconsistency doesn't carry into Oakland next week...

Playaction on 3rd and 13? Dan Henning go kill yourself. This is gonna be a long night.

OK, Dan Henning is ****ing retarded.

OMG, that was the most EXCITING game I have EVER gone to. It was great, it didnt rain on us, and it was actually a very exciting game. We made a lot of big plays and like always the 12th man did their thing to help produce our share of procedural penalties. Chargers had a few false starts, a 12 men in the huddle, and many delay of games. The stands were just electric on both of Leon Washington's return TDs.

The part that was the funniest to me was there was one play where P. Rivers dropped back about 2 steps and threw the ball. The thing was that there was no one on that side of the field, and he was clearly inside the pocket. There were no flags however, so we the fans were giving the refs our opinion (trust me, lol). But what made it funny was that San Diego must have been confused or something because all of a sudden we all look up and see the play clock at like 7. She Rivers hurries his team to the line only to get called for delay of game. So in the end we got a penalty, just not the one we wanted. But the fact that they never even made/got out of a huddle in the 40 seconds after the prior play seemed odd.

God, the Detroit Lions suck. I had hope until the last two minutes when they threw two, count em TWO, interceptions in the freakin end zone.

Man, the Jets ****ing suck. Dan Henning is a god damn retard and the wildcat is stupid ****. -20 yards on the wildcat, yay.

Who the hell calls play action on 3rd and long, and then bombs it on 3rd and 2? Idiot Dan Henning, that's who.

They suck so much they beat the Dolphins. Good game though I thought the Jets were going to find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Henne played well. Brandon Marshall hurt the Jets most of the game. But at the end he was no where to be found. Sanchez had another good game which is a very good sign for things to come.

Dansby was amazing but the rest of our linebackers were awful. Sanchez to Keller is killer. Also our run game was piss poor because John Jerry was sick. Awful playcalling though. At least your Schotty can call a game.

Dan Henning is okay sometimes. I think sometimes he shows his age. Personally I think I would have tried a fade with Marshall towards the back of the end zone. The worst thing that could have happened was a pick. Which happened anyway.

You know, I will say this. GREAT win by the Seahawks. I saw the highlight package on ESPNEWS. TWO- count 'em- TWO kickoffs for touchdowns! Had to be a wild game up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Now on to tonight...

Packers at Bears tonight!

Border states clash at Soldier Field. Who you got winning this one in Chi-town tonight?

kjb

That would've probably been a TD if Henne threw it at Fasano's crotch instead of high like that.

Henning already called a fade though. On 2nd and 2. What a ****. They could've moved Jake Long next to Vernon Carey and actually ran behind the two of them in the wildcat, but they never did that for the entire game. The only time Long lined up in the TE spot next to Carey is when they did an end-around and ran the complete opposite way for a loss of like 6 yards. Terrible playcalling... Henning was up past his bedtime.
