Regardless of how you feel about Moss he is still very dangerous. Having Moss should help open up the Vikings offense because he will command a safety over the top. This help Harvin because he can move to slot where he can be dangerous. I think this move hurts the Pats. I know they believe they had two No 1s but I wonder how well Welker will do once he becomes the focus of defenses. I know when they play the Jets again he will be shut out on Revis island. I think their offense as constituted will score a lot of points but I think once the get to playoffs (if they make it) they will really miss Moss. I know he was head case but they did put great numbers with him and were an Asante Samuels int away from a Super Bowl win. Also remember this he as been involved with two of the highest scoring offenses. Good move by the Vikings.

BYE week teams: Miami, New England, Pittsburgh, and Seattle

I'm not sure of any good games this weekend. I know our match against the Giants won't be an easy one. I guess the Packers at Redskins is a very good match.

Let me make one quick comment about the Miami Dolphins before I end this post... I like PR/WR Davone Bess. That guy got some speed and some agility!

New England's draft is going to be crazy. 2 1st round picks (one from the Raiders), 2 2nd rounders, 3 third rounders, 2 4th, a fifth, and a sixth.

Texans need to get some professional help because the Texans played like a mediocre college team. We're about to lose 34-10 (or worse) to the Giants. I think there is an anatomy of losing- do you lose when you know you could have won it, or do you lose to a team that was simply better in every aspect? Well, the Texans' loss against the Giants was a loss where the team simply played better in every phase of the game. Texans couldn't do a damned thing. Arian Foster and Brian Cushing were both non-factors in this game. We were just completely off.

I'm disappointed, but I'm not calling for Gary Kubiak's head. I hope your favorite team(s) didn't get creamated and embarassed... :(

[UPDATE] It's a 34-10 final, New York Giants creamed the Texans. Up next... the Chiefs here in Houston next Sunday.

Your boy Foster killed me in my big money fantasy league this week. Still, he is the real deal, I hope Kubiak doesn't go with his ratlike tendancies and bench him after a fumble like he usually does for RBs.

No Steelers this week, so I got to watch some other teams for once. Boy, do the Niners look terrible right now.

The Lions finally won, and I was at the game. I have never seen so many shocked individuals in my entire life, you would have thought Detroit won the Super Bowl.

Well, if my boy Arian Foster killed your fantasy team, then the Texans were long dead even as the Giants rammed the rock right down our throats.

Vikings at Jets TONIGHT! Who you got, Vikes or Jets?

NNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!! This is the worst day ever. The Seahawks have traded Deion Branch back to the 'Pats. And what do we get? A 4th round pick. Are you kidding me, that's all!?! Not only was he my favorite person on the roster but he was our best receiver. If nothing else he is worth more than a 4th round.

Deion Branch? You're lucky you got a 4th rounder.

Seriously, that's the same price Santonio Holmes was picked up for...and Santonio isn't older than dirt either.

Branch was relevant about 10 years ago now.

Max, please ask your Stealers ( :sly: ) not to kill Colt tomorrow (what is Mangienous thinking? Fool..); Ravens in Foxboro (bloodbath) See what Tommy boy can do without a torso; My 'boys go to Fav-re land and if his arm stays attached, should battle (hate watching games there, it's a dump) but probably lose; Texans have a real chance to lose to the Chieves (maybe they have some heart); Raiders go to Candlestick, toes-up (although I love watching Singletary blow gaskets and freak-out, "who smells a rat!")

Several good games tomorrow.....this season is nuts!

.02 centavos

Dolphins gave me indigestion but at least they won. :) Praying to God Dansby is OK though.

Hehehe. Seahawks defied ALL the critics. Nobody gave us a chance today because 1) We don't do well on the road, 2) We don't do well after by-weeks, 3) The bears are leading their division.
Well too bad people. We waltzed right into the house of "Da Bears" and gave Cutler a good beating.

My only complaint is why did that one guy have to hit John Ryan so hard? Our punter was running after Devon Hester on the play he ran one back and someone came right up on him and flat out blasted him. Helmet to helmet and everything, totally made him flip and tumble a few times. Real violent fall. Glad he was able to get up and walk back to the sidelines. But let's be honest, you don't have to demolish a punter to make yourself look all big and tough.

If Omnis is reading this (which is likely), congratulations to your Dolphins in taking down Green Bay on the road.

As for my Texans... we took down the Chiefs in come-from-behind fashion. A few officiating bluffs have occured, and one of them got Brandon Flowers absolutely upset. No Texans next weekend- it's Bye week for us. But up next... at Indianapolis on Monday Night. It's the Texans' first-ever Monday Night Football game on the road.

And one last note: Pittsburgh, PLEASE get rid of those horrible throwback uniforms! I'm sorry. Those are terrible.

Yeah I hate Pitt's throwbacks too. Mustardheads.

I think our stadium is bad luck or something.

Grrrrr! Dallas is REALLY making me hate team sports. So tired of watching them shoot spitwads at each other. Beyond words actually. :grumpy:

I was entertained at the sheer amount of F-Bombs that the Dallas coach was obviously dropping every time they turned to one of the cameras focusing on him. Still, the game itself was pretty good. It could have gone either way right up to the end, and Detroit of today obviously isn't Detroit of last year or two years ago, similar win record or not.

The Vikings and Cowboys game was pretty good as well. That last play was the funniest thing I've seen in football for a good while.

They definitely are a better team, they still need 2-3 good drafts and some decent FA deals to become a competitor though. Their biggest loss was by only 2 touchdowns in the loss against the Vikes, the rest have all been rather close.

Was rather funny, especially after Greenway finally got it, granted you couldn't see his face but you could tell he was thinking "finally".

I really am starting to wonder if Favre may even make it through the season, it seems every game something else gets hurt.

I noticed a trend this week. There were a ton of helmet-to-helmet related injuries. I was lucky that in my game our guy was able to get back up from a horrendous hit.

If Minnesota's O-Line doesn't shape up, I wouldn't be surprised. After Favre came down hard on his arm just before half-time, it was pretty clear that the Vikings immediately switched to a running game rather than the more mixed game it had been up to that point.

Titans at Jaguars TONIGHT!

Both teams are 3-2, and only one of these two teams will be tied with Houston and Indianapolis with a 4-2 record. Question is... Who will improve to 4-2 after tonight- the Titans or Jags?

NFL cracking down on vicious hits stemming from lots of hard hits from Sunday. Hefty fines being doled out to certain players. What are your thoughts on this whole deal?

I think some of them were not that bad, however I think ones like the Cleveland game were totally unnecessary. I say good job by the league. (and as a good punter myself, I still hope one of those fines goes to the guy that racked up ours).

I think they need to be revisiting the helmet manufacturers. There have been way too many concussions since these retarded venty helmets began showing up. Are they really hitting that much harder than they were a few years ago?
