LOL!!! You're hilarious, man.
Yea, I think so.
Yeah, numbers like 6 interceptions in one game against the awful secondary of the Buffalo Bills? Or blowing it in the playoffs last year?
Get your facts straight, 5 INTs and 1 fumble...and they still won the game. Your Steelers lost to 3 bad teams and took 59:46 to beat the WINLESS DOLPHINS.
Wow, what a connection there, maybe he has more yards because he has 100 more completions, and almost 100 more attempts. This is because he is in a more pass friendly offense. He's also throwing to the second best receiver in football.
It is a valid and quite obvious point yes, but it is still a valid point. The Steelers have recievers to throw to, I don't want to hear about TO this and TO that. Every team has recievers capable of producing solid numbers for the passing game. The Cowboys also have a good running game most of the time so your "pass friendy offense" comment is slightly skewed because we do have a decent running game. If we were the Patriots I'd agree with you here since they are worthless at running the ball.
Also, 8 ints on the year, and the second best QB rating in the NFL for Ben is far from putrid, buddy.
Make that 9 INTs and 22 TDs for Ben and Romo with 29 TDs and 13 INTs at the end of week 12. Still shows that Romo has a better TD to INT ratio regardless of yards...and the fact that Romo has passed for almost 100 more completions should make that stat that much more important. What will Ben's stats be when he reaches the stat level that Romo is at now?
I'll give you that Romo is having a pretty good season so far
Hypocrite. You JUST got through calling him a quote "phony" so why backpedal now and say he's having a good season? I smell foul.
but he's not on Manning/Brady/Favre level or even close yet. I'd put him with QBs with the likes of Ben and Carson Palmer right now, good young QBs with a lot of potential.
You started out good in that quote but as soon as you got to Favre you started talking rubbish. Romo and Favre are having basically a similar season so I put them together right behind Manning and Brady. Palmer and Ben are behind Favr and Romo.
The QB list is in 4 sections...
Brady - P. Manning
Favre - Romo
Ben - Palmer - Brees - Hasselbeck
Everyone else
Eli Manning (lol a joke)
As for the Cowboys vs. Steelers debate...let's wait til the playoffs and see what happens then, both teams will go, and that's when it really counts.
Sure no problem, I didn't make it into a Cowboys vs Steelers thing, I simply took issue with your Romo comments. But, nothing would tickly my fancy as to see the best two teams ever in NFL history to fight it out in the Superbowl--that being the Cowboys and Steelers.
The Steelers and Cowboys are the best teams ever--the amount of Superbowl wins @ 5 each team dictates that for all of you who are about to reply to the fact that they aren't. Don't bother because they are.
