Cowboys 3-4

Drama once again. If only Romo had a solid consistent O-line and receiving core (minus Witten and Austin) that he could count on without question. I really think the games were he makes the most mistakes are the games in which there are breakdowns in the route running (looking at you Dez Bryant!) or he has to try too hard because the O-line is playing like crap. I assess the bad season so far as 25% Romo's fault. Add 40% fault from the O-line and receiving core.

The defense is fickle some days it looks brilliant and others (Eagles game) they (the secondary) look a bit off. If it wasn't for Ware and Lee our defense would be third rate. The secondary adds the other 35% fault for the season in it's current state.

We're -6 on the total season point differential so at least we've had games were we shouldn't of won and or could of lost. Being IN these games is better than being like the Colts and just getting blown out left and right.

The only other team Romo would be a starting QB on is the Redskins, because my Redskins suck.

Hide your children Dallas and get out your pacifiers because this'll make you cry:

This is because Romo sucks.

My Redskins are 3-4. With Grossman at the helm we were 3-2, with Beck we are 0-2. Instead of running the ball down the other teams throats with Torain, we're trying to throw with John Beck. We mind as well just go find Mark Bulger and sign him, because you can't get any worse. Our defense sucks, just like last year.

I'm sure he'd also start in Miami, Indy, Seattle, Denver, and Jacksonville.

Mark Bulger is a solid quarterback. He was just demolished by an utter lack of protection. It's hard to throw the ball when your getting pancaked into the gridiron.

This weeks' game: Another win for San Francisco. 2011's Defensive Rookie of the Year Aldon Smith should have a big game against a soft Washington Defense.

Wow I can't believe I did that. Meh. I'll leave the mistake up. 'Tis my shame.

Just for once, I want to hear a player or coach say:

"We're going to take things a few games at a time."

"No, we're going to coast into the playoffs because we've already thought about our opponents already."

"We're going to keep celebrating the fact we're overpaid adults playing a kid's game, so it's okay if we lose a game, since no sports book in their right mind would have favored us anyhow."

If there is a just and decent god, he'd stop allowing this vapid tripe from being broadcasted. Do sports news outlets think we haven't heard these things a thousand times before...that nobody's going to give up information? Especially that stupid little interview at halftime, that the losing coach strutting to the locker room is actually going to say..."No, we're going to blitz more and go long, to hell with our ineffective running game."

I haven't given a mid-season assessment of my Texans so far.

We're 5-3 and will host Cleveland this Sunday. I think the Texans are doing better from last season. The Texans basically had to put up as many points as possible and hope the other team doesn't crush us. How did THAT work out? Considering starting 4-2 to finish 6-10, that... didn't work. Hell, we made people like Tim Tebow look like all-pro players. You know there's the saying "no shoes, no shirt, no service?" Well for us, it's "no defense, no determination, no win." The Texans kind of play this season like they do their damage early on and hope the other team doesn't bounce back later in the game. They have to be more endurant and not let teams try and bounce back. Or at least, hope they don't bounce back to where a comfortable lead slips away.

The defense is getting much better compared to last season's joke of a defense. J.J. Watt is a beast on "D." I am even being fond of our long-haired beast, Brooks Reed. Brian Cushing is getting better as well. On offense, of course, Arian Foster is my man. Ben Tate looks great. While Andre Johnson's been sidelined, you have to credit Owen Daniels and Kevin Walter picking up the slack on offense. Jacoby Jones has also been pretty solid. Then too, getting Derrick Mason (formerly of the Jets) doesn't hurt, either. Matt Schaub has been a tough QB for the Texans. How he's able to fake people out in the passing game is great. Problem is, he sometimes fires one blank too many, if you know what I mean. Some fans have criticized that Schaub lacks any sort of killer instinct especially in clutch situations. Evidence of this was in the Oakland game where he threw that pick in the end zone that could have brought the Texans to win against Oakland late (or tie). Still, I'm actually more fond of Matt Schaub than the previous #8- David Carr.

It's like when we played at New Orleans. People talked about that game like we were supposed to win that. Bear in mind- we were playing a playoff-caliber team with a great cast of players. It wasn't like we were going to head into the Louisiana Superdome and whack the Saints. We just straight up lost. Same went for the game at Baltimore. Baltimore is just too doggone good (don't even get me started with the Ravens at Jaguars game), and we lost by 15. Only loss I wish we could have won was the Oakland game.

The general mindset of my team is that we're a team trying to learn to win games. Doesn't make sense to say that for a team that's been in the NFL since 2002, but making the playoffs (and hopefully going far into the playoffs) is what we're concerned about. Do they have the consistency and can play to win the game? I still believe in the Texans, but I have to be a lot more convinced on what we REALLY have before proclaiming any sort of bold claim on the Texans.

Good luck your team(s) this weekend.

For some reason, Alton Smith isn't even on the Pro Bowl ballot. Something is seriously wrong. That dude is a beast. ITS THE FIGHTIN' HARBAUGH SPIRIT.

I can't shake this awful feeling that Romo is going to be a Dolphin next season. Oh wait, Tony Sparano is gonna be fired so we won't worry about Cowboys trash being picked up by Miami anymore.

I picked San Diego, just because the Chiefs are bad.

EDIT: But San Diego played worse .

No joke, man.

"I pick [whomever are playing the Chiefs] , just because the Chiefs are bad" should be foolproof logic for predicting the outcome of a Chiefs game.

I going with the Chargers in a very tight game.

Edit: Oh, the Chiefs won in OT 23-20, that's now 4 straight wins for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are:

28th in passing yards
20th in Opposing passing yards
22nd in Opposing rushing yards.

HOW HAVE THEY WON FOUR IN A ROW!? :boggled::confused:

I'm completely and utterly baffled by it.

Either:
1. The Chiefs don't suck as bad as they seem to.
2. There are other teams even more incompetent.

Both conclusions give me the same  face as VANDENAL.

And I don't even want to think about Indianapolis.

....But it's somewhat refreshing to watch them play terribly. :dopey:

For those of you who don't know, this is the Tony Sparano Field Goal Fist Pump.

Your a 49er fan Villain? I guess you need someone to root for :p

I've been a fan of the 49ers my whole life! I had a poster of Joe Montana in my room as a kid and Jerry Rice was always my favorite. This was in spite of my LA Rams fan father.

Fact: the last time the 49ers won the superbowl was on my 8th birthday: Jan 29, 1995. :D

One of the best birthdays ever had. 👍

My teams FTR: Dodgers, 49ers, Clippers, Kings (NHL), Stanford and Notre Dame (NCAA Football), LA Galaxy (but who cares about MLS?)...

DOLPHINS WIN!! OH YEAH!!!

SUCK FOR BARKLEY! Wooo!

We put down the Browns 30-12 today at Reliant Stadium. Most of the heavy lifting was done by the Law Offices of Foster and Tate, both of which laying down the law on the Cleveland defense. Arian Foster did most of the running while Ben Tate was a solid #2 for the Texans. This was a great performance for us. Up next... we're at Tampa Bay. Also, this is the first time the Texans have been three games above .500 in team history. So this was a sunny day for the Texans despite the fact it's been cloudy today.

Also, epic fail by the Chiefs trying to defend home field. The Dolphins picked up their first win of the season with a 31-3 victory. The big difference was the two touchdowns Miami put up in the third quarter. So the only remaining winless team is Indianapolis, who lost 31-7 at home to the Atlanta Falcons.

How have your team(s) started November 2011?

Who would have thought at the start of the season that the Colts would be the last winless team remaining?

If you told me Peyton would be out, then yeah. Theyre totally packing it in though

But even without Peyton, I didn't think they would be this bad. I'm seriously starting think they're going 0-16 this year.

It is a possibility. They are pretty horrible at the moment. I thought their defense was at least reasonable. Anyway, go Steelers! They are facing those evil Ravens tonight. Well, they're not really evil. They are a physical team with a lot of talent. I respect that. But we're going to beat you.

I'd laugh, but the Steelers lost :(. That was one nerve racking game. They took the lead back with 8 seconds left!
