Go Lions!
:dopey:
Also its proven Lions fans are the best, we all dealt with the only 0-16 Ever and didn't decide to never watch football again. :dopey:

No.

Hail to the Redskins! We've dealt with a million losing seasons.

And we have Rex Grossman, who is um... well Rex Grossman.

I just contradicted myself...

Go Lions! :dopey:

I'd be worried about this weekend if I were LeSean McCoy.

It doesn't matter how you do it... as long as you do it. What was "it?" Winning. We won 17-10 over the Steelers. We should have won 31-10, but we had TOO MANY penalties. The only assuring factor is that the Texans didn't allow themselves to be swallowed up on penalties. Sometimes, you have to learn to win even ugly games. I still remember in our inaugural season in 2002 when the Texans won 24-6 at the Steelers despite snow and getting beat up on the stats sheet. You got to learn to win every game, even ugly ones.

Pass along some tissues for Buffalo- they are now 3-1 on the season after a come-from-behind win for the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincy.

How are your boys doing today?

Redskins won and improved to 3 and 1 on the season. Ryan Torain put on an impressive performance. Our running-game is what is getting us the wins.

I'm REALLY happy! Redskins won, Lions won, and the Cowboys lost. Let me guess, Romo choked again? The Red Cross really need to change their posters instructing how to do the heimlich maneuvre: They have a pic of a person where they should have a pic of the Dallas Cowboys logo.

Henne's shoulder is done now. Curse of the san diego Pennington. This is good news though. Suck for Luck in full effect!

We had a real good comeback run, but of coarse it all came down to Tavaris Jackson not putting the ball in the right place on 3rd down way late in the 4th.

Sorry, dude. You'll have to settle for Barkley or Foles.

Ah. Any way, I just saw the highlight of Calvin Johnson's epic catch in triple coverage. This guy will be this year's best receiver, because Megatron is a beast.

SUCK FOR LUCK SWEEPSTAKES

Go Fins!

Yes...Un-go Fins! And then fist-pump after we kick the oblong ball under the Big H! Subsequently, we'll pick up a kick returner as our first-round pick...again. And then, watch the NFL Commissioner then fine us like 20 gajillion francs for putting the sport into disrepute. See, being a Dolphins fan is nothing short of awesome, if you don't care enough to do your very best, but enough to make other teams feel better about themselves. I also hear Cam Cameron's available, once Sparano's shown the door.

Here's to hoping Henne and Mike Pouncey's okay, though. We really need the latter for our grand vision of the future, though.

Wait Omnis! My Redskins can still lose the next 12 games. Is it too late to enter the sweepstakes?!?

No way, we wish we could get a whiff of Rexy.

You mean you want a whiff of this guy?

Colts at Buccaneers TONIGHT!

No Peyton Manning... no problem? Who you got- Colts or Bucs? As for my Texans, I hope Andre Johnson won't have to miss too many games after his injury yesterday. I think Ben Tate had a groin injury. Injuries really hurt my Texans last season, especially on defense. I just hope for the best.

NYG + University Of Phoenix = Miraculous Out Of Nowhere Win! :sly:

Being a NYG fan (Big Thank You This Week To The Lions!) I have to say that this is a fumble, plain and simple and the refs got it wrong:

I don't have the Rams in the Suck for Luck Sweepstakes but can you guys imagine what they would do with the #1 pick? Luck vs. Bradford. They could trade a king's ransom for that #1 pick.

If Harbaugh doesn't find a fair enough deal to trade up for Luck, I'm hoping for RG3. He's nicely built for the new direction being taken by the NFL and it's pass-happy rules. I still prefer Luck to all other options, but he's not worth tanking 1st Rounders for the next 2 years plus all other picks.

Landry Jones also looks like a fit for the kind of offense Harbaugh runs:

This QB class is absolutely stacked. It's really hard to miss on QB talent. I will say that I want nothing to do with Matt Barkley, and I also won't be surprised if he waits a year because he wants to play in a Bowl game for USC.

Also, how do you like the 49ers being 3-1 after beating Philly? I bet you didn't see that coming! I take great pleasure in getting that pick right in both pick 'em leagues I'm in (I happened to be in 1st place in both). :sly:

Top 3 QBs will be Luck, Barkley, Foles.

Hate to disagree...

1. Andrew Luck
2. Landry Jones
3. Robert Griffin III
4. Matt Barkley
5. Ryan Tannehill
6. Nick Foles
7. Ryan Lindley
8. Brandon Weeden
9. Kirk Cousins
10. Brock Osweiler

Weeden is that baseball pitcher from OSU, right? He might be late first round.

Luck will be #1, Barkley Top 5, Foles Upper 1st, Weeden and Jones may sneak into the lower 1st. Everyone else is a 2nd rounder or lower. Not feeling the RG3 love, sorry. He's not a franchise QB.

It was 24-17 in favor of the Buccaneers last night. I found out that (from ESPN's Bottom Line) that the Bucs overcame two long touchdowns to hand Indy another loss.

So we have about four weeks of NFL Football in the books. How about a progress report?

1.) Who/What has impressed you the most so far this season?

2.) Who/What has unimpressed you the most so far this season?

3.) Who/What are your surprises of the season?

Maybe the progress of teams like Buffalo and Detroit have both surprised me. Not to sound like a homer, but I've been impressed with the Texans' defense. I do think they need to try to wrap up guys better and also try not to have their Secondary torched on long passes. There aren't too many things that have unimpressed me so far, so I won't comment.

How about you all?

1) The Washington Redskins. Our running game has been strong and led us to 3 victories.
2) The Indianapolis Colts. Their lack of ability to find a backup that can play well CONSISTENTLY is a joke.
3) My suprise has to be Roy Helu. He hasn't been able to run the ball much, but he is effective when he does run it.
