No engine sound on the RX8 LM Race Car?

Im currently doing B-Spec Dream Car Championship and noticed the RX8 has NO engine sound. Is it a glitch? All I can hear is the whine of the Race Transmission, but no engine.

I had a similar glitch on the A-Spec American Championship at Indy. It should go away after the race.

I downloaded a system update last night, and then the 1.08 patch.
I had tire noise absent in the first race I entered last night.
This is the first "glitch" I have encountered since the north american release date.
Tire noise returned for the next race, then was subdued for the 3rd... at that point I went to bed.

Very odd.

Same exact glitches happened to me as post 1 and 3 but after installing 1.06... same exact car as OP too in a b-spec race.

I notice same glitches all the time now- certain sounds missing in replays and b-spec. Might be tire sounds, might be engine sounds, etc..

Are you sure the transmission sounds isn;t the engine sound as the RX8 is a rotary engine and they whine a lot.

I've noticed this specifically several times. The RX8 has no engine noise. Just a faint gearbox whine that is barely even audible from outside of the car.

edit: Also, rotary engines do not 'whine.' I drive on every day.

No, it had no engine or exhaust sounds at all IIRC.
