Number of Copies Sold?

So I have been looking around google for a while and I still cannot find anything that says how many copies of Gran Turismo 4 have been sold up to now? Im assuming someone on here has the answer and preferably with a source possibly.

For the updated totals. So far, about 8.10 million for GT4. #28 of all time, #4 for all PS2 titles.

Looks like yours is more updated in terms of units shipped... 8.79 million... not bad... still shipping over one million units a year.

Why won’t VG Charts die?

Their data is based on “representative” samples from “retailers”, then adjusted to be in line with officially released sales data. Mind you official data can have discrepancies itself; for example compare Media Create, Famitsu and Dengeki.

The bottom line, VG Charts smells like donkeys.
