Can someone tell me the number one selling car in...

Japan?
Europe?
the world?

Thanks

The no.1 best selling model in the world should be the old Beetle.

Or the Corolla if all Corollas regardless of the various models are taken into account.

The No.1 selling car of all time in the world ever etc. is indeed the Corolla. The old Beetle is second or third, I think. The Lada Riva is in the top ten.

The original Beetle is certainly the world's top produced car because they only stopped production of them a few years ago. Beetle first, Mini second if I remember correctly.

As of February, Europe's top seller is the Vauxhall Astra which just unseated the Ford Focus, which had previously been number one for forty months.

The number 1 seller was the Corolla taking all generations into account, the number 1 seller for a single generation was the original Beetle, I don't think the Mini produced anywhere near as many cars, the Mini was very popular but I don't recall seeing it as the number 2.

I ment like right now. I really need to know about Japan, this is for a report I'm writing about the death of the American car.

I think that you've got to hand it to the corolla, because even in counting the beetle, there's a whole bunch of different iterations.

I'd put down the focus for Europe (it has sold most for the last year)
Japan's best seller is the corolla for '03,
And the focus is the world's best selling car.

Given that Ford has the best selling car and best selling vehicle (in the F150) it really amazes me that it still manages to get into financial trouble:confused:
