Wow, I didn't know people were SO loyal and looking forward to this challenge:drool:
I'm honest to confess I asked for this delay, since I'm bussier like ten times more now than I was before in my own private life:indiff: The timing is pretty good because I have a week off in begin of May, starting on the 29th, I'll have loads more of time then as you obviously would recognize, so instead of 30th of April, it's May the 3d/4th, I thought it wouldn't be so bad with such a small delay, but if it's too much: sorry, these kind of situations only happen once or twice in 3 years, and will never happen again, I promis.

But just to see you excited this much, I'll promis I make it up to all of you by beating PDR!!!!! COME ON TOUGEMAN, PLEAZZZ help me with this too, I already have a pretty cool replay!:sly:

well, i dont wanna say anything negative, but youll have some good competition on your hands to beat... good luck with that. more luck to PDR.
the delay is ok, wasnt too much of an extention, so all is good. i just want to see some good videos.
and btw, people LOVE challenges. i hope to see more around here after the 2 that are going now end.

LOL, dont stress it G-T-4-Fan :), im no that desperate,i think i can manage to wait a little longer, and im predicting some quality vids coming from both teams..... should be good 👍
 
I'm sick of this technical stuff, I'm not good at it and screwed it up myself again. I got my dazzle from the internet a week ago with everything icluding the software, I spend around 50,- for it and threw that money away, but I could only test it out NOW, cause I had truoble and delaying personal business. I asked about a vid. capture card on my thread: "Should I really by a capture card?" saying with it that I'm a mac/apple user and someone gave me this "solution" because it worked on USB so I could connect it too my computer too:tup: Only problem is that Pinacle only creates software for Windows, so the Dazzle itself can connect but I can't install the supporting software:banghead::mad: I already mailed Pinacle if there's ANY possebility of letting this device WORK!! It was a common question and it WASN'T ABLE!!!!! I threw away my money and searched further: the cheapest solution for Mac works exactly the same, only the sowftware is different + the price: 175,- + that thing is not even recomended, the recomended one costs: +300,-:crazy::banghead::banghead::mad::mad::grumpy::mad:
I even tried to record it on video tape and then "DV in" it with a pretty good camera that can do that: that means the camera records the tape to the camera and then with USB transfer it to my computer: DIDN'T WORK EITHER cause the camera didn't record it from the tape!!!! I also don't know anyone else with a capture card!!!

You have to understand I tried everything today, normally I couldn't because my parents wouldn't allow this chaos but now I had a device that didn't work and they understood my frustration, THERE'S NO MORE CHANCE FOR ME rather then getting 170,- very quickly (impossible so forget that) or record it off the TV wich means VERY bad quality like Swift can probably remember for previous vids of me:yuck:

Sorry but I'm out of the challenge.........:indiff: sory tougeman too, cause probably I won't be able to make vids. for a LOOONNNGG while, your allowed to kick me out of the team or something cause I have nothing to contribute yet for the team,

Flame me: I deserve it or I'll record off TV for a bit less dissapointment

Do you have a gameshark? You could save the replay and send it to someone as a file and then they could capture the vid for you.

real sorry to hear about the capture troubles, especially since you've been waiting for the card so long

but if I were you I wouldnt withdraw from the competition yet. I've seen more than one taped entry on the GT3 drift forum.

then again, it's easy for me to say this b/c I don't have to try to watch and judge your vid :sly:

Im sure a taped replay would be fine, sure quality wouldnt be AS good but its your drifting being judged, not the video quality.

actually, your thinking of OS9 and earlier, OSX is one hell of alot better and can firmly plant a boot in the rear end of windows.

now, lets not start a flame war........unless it involves a muffler and a backfire.....

Correct but I don't think he meant to start a flame war so suddenly:irked:
I have a G5 with OSX and it performs wonderfull: if you get an error from your PC itself, your computer is wrong and it fals under garantee or whatever you call it, it gets made instantly because a G5 that doesn't work good isn't a G5, just rubbish.

The only thing that makes Mac less wonderfull than Windows, is that there more programs for Windows and less for Mac as proven yesterday:banghead::grumpy:👎

I'll think about filming, cause I'm sick of this crap now aswell as my parents that were already (the errors and all the filming stuff, not drift vids.)........

nope because I was working on a MAc and it just froze on me, now back to the topic
