yeah, Technically Ford don't own the GT40 name, thats why its called the GT.
Btw, the RUF pic is the best

thats funny, because they originally were gonna call the for GT the GT40, but when the original creator of the original GT40 (also came up with the name) heard about it, he told ford that the only way they could use the name was to pay him, as he has the rights to the name... also the ford GT is 42 inches high from ground to highest point on the roof and not 40 inches like the gt40.

It's not just semantics, one is a race car from the late 60's. One is a modern day "supercar" that looks like a race car from the late 60's. I'm curious if the GT70 and GT90 also fit into the GT40 family?

Having seen both in real life, side by side, at the auto show, i'd say the GT40 is better looking than the GT. I've loved the car since GT2, its the original "Ferrari slayer". Now I just have to learn how to drive it in GT4.

Nice Ive only seen GT40 in replica form( Damn good replica though), Id post a pic or two of them but I think Id get some flack because its not a GT4 pic All I know is the exhaust setup is awesome looking. These replicas were going for 115k, so it was a nice looking car and well done
