Ok... How's This Deal (And Need To Fix Problem)

I got a buddy who is gonna give me his PS2 for $50 and he says it just loads slow. What can I do to fix this? He says it plays everything fine but whenever it has to load something it takes a bit longer...

Where would I get one and what's the procedure thing to clean the laser thinger?

you can usually get them at any place that sells cds, and all it is, is a cd with little brushes on it, that go over the lens, and clean it. So you just pop it in, push play, and listen to the instructions that you will hear, or just let it run for a few minutes, come back, and then you cd lens should be clean.
