So, is anyone in the lounge?
 
I will be in the lounge late this evening, possibly in another hour.
 
Internet came back on sometime last night, no storms in the forecast for today. 👍 Anybody up for some Silvia racing this afternoon? Maybe around 1 or 2pm EDT? I'm flexible.

I could be in around 3:30'ish pm EDT if no one wants to do it earlier... I have some oil changes and yard work that's going to keep me busy until then.

I apologise to any who might've wanted to run last night. I sat down to let my system update(I think I may have fixed my connection issues) and began to fade out. I will be off work later this afternoon, so I will miss this gathering, however if any are interested in driving later on I expect to be on.
 
Here comes that storm you guys got last night, they're saying 1"+ hail and 60 mph winds.
 
I'm switching cable providers today. So I'm probably not gonna make it in time.

It lasted literally 30 seconds here. It got pretty windy, and didn't see any hail.

Should be there for 3:30 unless I get sidetracked.

Well, there were only four of us but I think High Speed Ring, Motegi East and Monza should all be acceptable for points racing, and possibly quite fun. GVE-R and Nurburgring GP/F will likely round out the schedule. Probably in that order too.
 
The lineup looks good... So no Motegi Oval?? HSR is taking its place, correct?
 
Correct. Motegi Oval will likely be back next season as I did quite enjoy it and the tire strategy that came with it. 👍

BOO on Motegi East! I definitely wasn't a fan... :sick:

I loved this car at Monza and HSR though, for not driving/racing in such a long time, I actually had really good pace at both places even without the draft.

GVE-R and Nurb GP/F are always great tracks.

It was nice to race against some proper drivers again today, and now that I'm back to only working one job I'll be able to participate in the upcoming season! :sly:
 
I really enjoy HSR. It's one of my favorites. I do really good there. So i'll see how I really do against All you pro-drivers...
 
HSR is going to workout great with this group, Lancers Capp series used it and it was a great track. There is a chance of cars spinning into the tunnel. Nothing makes a race more exciting than flooring it into a tunnel full of smoke, this is just a video game so its fun to see who makes it out the other side.
 
So when does the new season start? HSR will be interesting and Twin Ring East is gonna bring back memories of cones that pissed me off on GT Academy Test lmao. But i guess it wasnt to bad i made it. 👍 :)

It was my least favorite of the three. I'm open to suggestions for a replacement.
 
Personally, I like Autumn ring. I also like Tsukuba but in several test races with this car we could not overtake. Suzuka East is ok......except for the final turn which is so terrible I never care to race there again. 👎

Tsukuba is fun hit narrow. We've raced the Moto chicane recently and had great success. Hard to pass here.

Deep Forrest ain't bad at all. Just say screw boundaries and let'em fly.

HSR is win.



Keep Motegi Full and use it as a Enduro style event. ;)

My only test race of HSR didn't go well. I hope I can get some more practice under "race" conditions .

Motegi full was really fun, so let's keep it. I would like to keep Motegi oval too. Could we possibly try Nurb GP/D?
