Hopefully it doesn't come to that, we'll try what we can to see if there's any improvement and hope the problem doesn't arise again. 👍 If it happens again we can try going without mics but I find the chatter to be enjoyable and also feel that being able to give voice commands is very important so hopefully we don't have to go that route. Out of curiosity, do you know what "room quality" the other rooms are set for? I forget what ours is set at, somewhere around the upper-middle but not the highest. Do you normally run in private lounges or public rooms?

It varies. Usually the race quality is set on standard. Mics are disabled. I don't want to ask you guys to change the world for me I did forget to clear my cache before I raced at HSR. I bet that will fix 99.99% of lag issues I have.

Cnd, we only get mad if someone turns 180 and starts ramming into us mid race. we really want to make this work.

These problems are more related to GT5 and it's servers. So we will focus on getting all we can from that and hope it solves the issue.

I hear a lot of random noises from your mic too, there have been several times where I thought a parakeet was being repeatedly tortured somewhere in your house.

I don't think so, I didn't even know you had a mic until recently and it's rarely on. I'm pretty sure he was talking about somebody else who is cohorts with Kami, who used to set the mic down right by the radio speaker when he would get up to do something, or recently took a phone call while his mic was still on.

Yeah... I bought one and rarely use it. It's a turtle beach, same model as yours I believe... Not the easiest to turn off and on in a hurry. I leave it off most of the time (especially during races) so that I don't spew profanity all over the lounge.

That might not always be me. My PS3's right in the middle of our main floor, and my mic's pretty sensitive.

It has been a long day, so I haven't been able to keep up here as much as usual.

I will start by apologising to those who were effected by any lag that I may have transmitted during the race.

Also, I feel I owe apology to a few of you whom had your race outcome affected by my driving in the latter part of the race. It was not my intention to provide any advantage to any particular driver, however regardless of intent; I am sorry for the effects.

One last mention I would like to make is a tip of my hat to Ace. For a few laps in the early part of the race Ace it was a pleasure to drive next to you until we were recalled to the pack.

I did not experience any lag issues myself, but sometimes the person lagging does not see any lag, and some may see lag that others on screen cannot. I know DSG was having difficulty even seeing me on track in the past.

I know DSG was having difficulty even seeing me on track in the past.

That was after I changed my router, but before I bothered to set-up proper port forwarding. So, I'd say, port forwarding is a must, not matter if cache is cleared or not.

Another option is to put your PS3 in DMZ mode if you understand the risk. It results in a Nat Type 1 wireless connection for me.
