Now we have 6 members we can run the Championship and could take on more members as we go, they will just get points from the race they start in. First round getting nearer now, looking like everyone running good lap times....thatll change on the first corner haha.

Yes, it will be kicking off 16/2/13 21:30 UK time. I have just update and redesigned some of the general thread information and the Intermediate OP, I need to make some adjustments and put the times in but all dates for the championship are now in place. Im really busy with work but I have got some time off later this week so I can get everything up to date.

I know this is kind of short notice, but I am just finding out this morning. None of my Saturdays will be free for quite a while. You can remove me from your driver list.

No worries Jester, if your circumstances change please PM me you will be welcome back to the ORDL at any time.

Due to the amount of entrants we currently have and with Jester having to leave us I suggest we run this Championship as a one off individual event with no teams.

All this means essentially is that each competitor will have to have a different colored car. Individual championships are normally run as a Cup - 5 round event as per the general thread but I dont mind running this in the same format over the 10 rounds. I will even be adding a longer cup for an individual championship to the events type list for future use.

If anyone has any problems with this please let me know, if we do manage to get some more members registered then we will leave it as is. I will give it until the 14th, if no more members are added by then can everyone please PM me their new car color.

@ Spatt, I still need you to confirm if your running with neal, in which case we only need 1 more member to run as a team event. I also need your RM number and car color (obviously depends on joining neal or being on a new team)

After I receive this I will add you to a relevant slot on the entry list.

I know its a little bit of a mess around, please bear with it and lets get this league up and running. OP has been updated with tables, dates etc all now in place.

I think it will be better to postpone the event that we need to fill the grid with pilots. It's just an opinion ...

Why can't we run the race unofficially? Just for fun. i mean.. isn't that the whole idea? To have fun. Who cares on the standings at least we can say we've raced together

This would have to be a group decision, we could run the championship in an unofficial capacity while trying to recruit more members.

The regs are all in the general thread linked in my sig. No its Grand Valley as per the OP of this thread. Lots has been update so please check the general thread and the OP here often.

What are peoples thoughts in running the championship as individuals and as a fun entry event to get people together and get some racing done? I was really hoping we would have at least 12 members by now and have some more events ready for after the Lexus Championship.

If everyone agrees we can stick to the dates already set out in the OP and see how we go. If we have little or no success increasing the popularity and members list by the end of the 10 rounds, I will think about maybe closing the league.

Im prepared to put the work in with the website and scheduling events etc but if its not going to be a success then I wont carry on, will have to see what happens between now and the middle of April and take it from there.

If Spatt is joining nealcropper in his team, you could join me and have your car Lexus Red. If this is the case we have 3 teams and can run the event as first intended. New members joining throughout the championship will be added in due course and only pick up points from the round they join.

@Spatt, we will send out a search party for nealcropper and I will add you to his team anyway. It makes sense to have 3 complete teams at this stage and get things started.

@Kriss just run the league and see how it goes but lets treat it as a practice league ;-) for now... the idea is to have fun racing online with like minded people.. thats what weve got. people will join eventually during the running i'v no doubt.

Yeah its hard to get everyone racing at a convenient time, as long as your ok racing in the morning mate. After you RM your Lexus, tune it and run it in, should be looking at 735 BHP / 608 PP ish.
