All the rules etc are in there, have a quick read its all pretty basic to follow. I have just updated our General thread and the OP here to include Spatt and Tiger, I am just going to Pm Neal and see if I get a response.

There is a mistake on the regulation sheet in the general thread. ABS for intermediate should be YES. Thanks for querying it, I should have double checked before publishing the page. I will get it corrected now.

Itzza- is away for the first round but you could team up with him and try to get some points on the board for the team. He is using Amuse Lime Green Metallic.

Im offline now, no-one was online. Yeah try your phone mate, should be goof to video. I used my DSLR tripod to stand my phone on and record the lap.

@all members. Still no word from nealcropper, I hope he is racing with us. If there are some no shows we can still race and then decide how to match people into teams and carry the points into the new teams.

Great, I would PM Itzza-, just in case he has someone lined up as a team mate to join. Alternatively, you can always introduce someone else to the league to race with if you wish.

I respectfully ask that i captain my own team if Neal cropper doesn't show by the end of today...

i will NOT be running the car in the colour you have written down as that was Neal's colour choice.

if this is a big problem then i will get that colour its just that i currently dont have that colour (i would have to buy a car in that colour) and simply dont want too.

I will be adding our races to the GT Planet calendar, time set as UK time. I have asked the mods if there is a way I can embed it into a forum post for all to see and just waiting for a reply. Ok neal replied to my PM and has also posted here, you guys sort out whats happening and let me know asap. I will be onlinebetween 3-4pm UK and then again after 9pm tonight, i will be in my lounge as usual.

Galaxy S3 on HD video recording, not perfect quality after youtube processed it but it beat spending shed loads on a decent HD screen captue device.

No prob neal, hope you and spatt can sort something. It makes sense to try and keep teams together so il see what you both decide on.

Further to the video recording, I will be saving race replay in case of race incidents. Remember that we want clean races and I will need to get the rules updated to reflect that dirty driving will incur a penalty, maybe a 5 point penalty. Any suggestions guys?

as regards to contact during a race...

is minor contacts "Allowed" and i use that term loosely as its never the aim to cause contact

We assume there WILL be minor contact during the race and as long as its minor and doesn't affect the race order (as in gain a position or loose a position) we will not be penalised for it?

if contact leads to a car in front going sideways i would say that is an incident and should be looked at right?

i'v raced online when people have backed out of it when they feel they have overtaken by breaking rules to avoid any penalty.. i guess what i'm getting at... if someone feels they've done something wrong during the race can they redeem them selves during the race by giving back a position or lifting off to allow the car behind to pass?

Could not have put it better myself, so yeah if you are reckless and wipe someone out and they are majorly disadvantaged then you will be penalized.

However minor contact as found in WTCC etc is tolerated. As long as drivers bear in mind that their actions have an impact on others then we should be ok, 1st corner of 1st laps are always a potential grenade to try and avoid.

Il get the rules updated:

3 point penalty per incident, up to a maximum of 3 incidents per race (9 point total deduction). If a driver causes an incident that is deemed to be worth more than a 3 point deduction then he may be given a single penalty of 6 points, with a further infringement adding the other 3 to the total of 9.

If an incident is extremely severe and/or intentional, or has a number of incidents (3+) then the driver may be disqualified. Clips of incidents will be posted for all to see so that a general agreement can be made.

Pleased your getting sorted with neal, all you need is to buy a Nissan in the Midnight Purple II (doesn't matter which model as long as the colour is available) and then repaint your Lexus, sort paint chips by manufacturer and should see it listed.
