ORDL GamePOD Road Series Season 1 - Lexus ISF RM Championship

Any one had experience inserting images on gtplanet? The ORDL images and tables etc I have inserted are ok, however is there a way I can insert them and then update solely by updating the original on my pc without having to upload a new copy to photobucket every time? I know we cant insert tables but the image quality is degraded from the original in MS office as I have to save it as a JPEG every time.

Any help would be appreciated.

as regards to contact during a race...

is minor contacts "Allowed" and i use that term loosely as its never the aim to cause contact

We assume there WILL be minor contact during the race and as long as its minor and doesn't affect the race order (as in gain a position or loose a position) we will not be penalised for it?

if contact leads to a car in front going sideways i would say that is an incident and should be looked at right?

i'v raced online when people have backed out of it when they feel they have overtaken by breaking rules to avoid any penalty.. i guess what i'm getting at... if someone feels they've done something wrong during the race can they redeem them selves during the race by giving back a position or lifting off to allow the car behind to pass?

@Neal i don't mind staying on your team at all, its just i didn't know if you would show. where can i get the colour for your team? do i have to buy the skyline in "midnight purl" i don't know what "midnight purl II" is? also you gunna get chance to run a few laps tonight?

If you wanna be on my team pal I can send you the car. It's not a problem. Yeah I might be able to get on tonight later on, send me a FR and if I can I will get on. That ok mate?

All you had to do was PM me and say that due to personal reasons you wont be racing with us and it would not of been a problem. I dont believe im taking the league too seriously, I just wanted to create something fun for people to join and I dont expect to be messed about.

There was no need to be a cocky ****, it was the attitude that pissed me off. All I ask is people are genuine and honest and if they have more important things going on then dont sign up or let me know that you may not be able to attend.

I hope evertything works out for you and I appologise for the rant.


@neal I will update the driver listings in the morning, I will partner Itzza- and he will not be attending the first round due to other commitments this weekend. I think we have 3 complete teams and hopefully more drivers will join.

Then why not just send a PM saying that you cannot attend? You don't even have to give a reason. It's a hobby, you don't have to do it, you do it because you enjoy it.

I already apologized so dont start up another argument. Right now my mom really is in the hospital she suffered from a minor heart attack today in the afternoon. Right now she is in stable condition. I think we should draw a line under this now. I know I went off on one and we have all had a say. Rant time over, lets get back to the racing.

I do feel that Tiger should stay away from the ORDL for the time being. Let some dust settle and maybe, dependant on attiude he could rejoin if he wishes at a later date. This would have to be first agreed by other members.

Right guys I have updated the entry list and I have teamed up with Itzza- despite him not being available this weekend. 3 full teams are present and we can run with that for now.

NOTE: I know its a little last minute but I have changed the regs slightly. Most notably is the tyre choice, with RACING MEDIUM now available for the Intermediate Series. I will make this known in pre race lobby tonight in case not everyone gets to visit the forum.

Some other slight changes have been made so make sure you check the general thread.

Welcome to OIK01, our newest member! 2 members have PMed me, they may be running a little late tonight, I shall be opening our lounge at 21:45 instead of 21:30 to give them extra time to attend the event.

I have prioritised the members that are attending the first round into teams, the result is Itzza- will require a team mate for the next round.

Please remember the tyre regulations have changed and Racing Medium are now allowed.

first u said no setups will be allowed, then u accepted setups... after that change tyres to RM ppl didnt like it and change it back... and now u change that **** on race day?? dude u gotta learn how to make a racing league

Due to differing opinion regarding the tyres and after discussion tonight before the race I will revert the changes and keep to the original of SS.

Sorry rat was just trying to keep everyone happy and i think now it makes sense to keep it how it was.

Spatt I'm really sorry, I have just got home, well about half hour ago. We was manic at work. Really sorry to let you down pal. I will send you the car now.

Due to differing opinion regarding the tyres and after discussion tonight before the race I will revert the changes and keep to the original of SS.

Sorry rat was just trying to keep everyone happy and i think now it makes sense to keep it how it was.

No worries neal, just gutted you missed the race. I know what you mean about saying yes, im currently trying to get a transfer so im in the same boat.
The whole tyre issue was my fault, I should have stuck to what I originally planned instead of try to please everyone it was never going to work.

I have updated the OP to reflect the standings after the first round. I will be recording the race later today and uploading it for all to see.

I had loads of fun (thought I would really struggle with the power) really had fun looking after my tyres.. would have been nice to get in the pits... think I would have gone one more lap on my tyres as I saw people lighting up there tyres infront of me. I do think if we do a few more laps we will be bringing in the aspect of a pitstop at the end of the race and this will make the race more exciting.

I think we all had fun fella. Tyre management and trying to be quick is difficult to do!

Intermediate Series races are between 50-100km long and if you check the OP you will see this event only just makes the minimum distances.

Future events will be longer and while some events will have a mandatory pit stop others will not. In races where pit stops are not compulsory, its going to be down to drivers to figure out whether to drive more conservatively and look after the tyres or pit and hope everyone else does the same.

Have not had chance to get the replay up yet, but it will be on later today. I do believe it was Oikk01 who went straight on at turn one!
