Right out of the box - Aunt Jemima. Maple syrup to go with it. We did have lemons and sugar - but were too lazy. Actually the more work involved in the traditions the less we opt to follow through. ;)

And there's a demand for pancakes tomorrow, too. Shrove Wednesday.

You bludgeoned your kids unconscious with a rock hard piece of bread just because you couldn't double a Delia recipe?! Monster.

Have the pancakes and jam got you so excited you had to come and post on here in a sugary mania? Hey, don't be a stranger. ;)

My kids are away with the grandparents so no pancakes for us. They lose their appeal when you're a grown up. :P

Pancakes that is...

That's about the size of it, I even used the crust :p

Cheers buddy 👍 been busy visiting a sick mum in hospital but I've still been lame...again

I can take or leave pancakes most of the year but you have to have them on pancake day, it would be like Easter without the bunnies and chocolate eggs or Christmas without the presents, food and booze...you need to remember what it's all about. As for Delia's tiny portion by the time I realised I'd already tidied up so huge case of CBA as I was flying solo in the kitchen and the kids would decorate with the fillings if left unattended.

Don't deny it! You do work at Sainsbury's :sly:👍 !

I can't imagine sausages and bacon tasting nice with a pancake though.
Probably a bit late with this reply but bacon added to anything is brilliant.
