I am assuming that analysing the fault, coding fixes, completing a new version, thoroughly testing it and distributing it to all servers is not a mean bit of work for just over a day.

Also, it seems to think v1.08 isn't the proper version...

But hey, it did actually load to the main menu quicker! The update improved something, I guess.

There's no way they built this full release in less than 36 hours, so either 1.08 was already under development or there was something so broken about 1.07 that rewriting it deserved its own version number.

I’m sure it’s not a “new version” but rather a continuation of 1.07. They started with 1.07, fixed whatever is wrong and named that 1.08.

Mismatch between server and client, either we need a 1.09 or they need to bring the server up to 1.08 level

Edit, now says down for maint and not update your game so maybe its not available as it's restarting to new level

It's either 1.07 with the bug fixed, or the whole change that caused the bug removed, or just 1.06 again. We won't know until the servers are back up and/or we have changelog.

The maintenance isn't over, so it's possible the servers aren't fully updated yet
