1. Enable saving in (the longer) Endurance races. It is impossible for many of us to even finish this in less than a week. That is if the overheated PS3 hasn't burned down the house.
2. Make cheating and grinding less attractive. The 1.08 fix, duping and birthday gifting are all based on the hopeless payment/exp structure in this game. Having to drive the same course over and over again just to buy a decent race car is just crazy. Not to mention it makes people tired of the game rather sooner than later.
Tips to PD - do all you can to make the need for boring grinding stop, use the seasonal events all you can to increase money payouts and even consider adding prize cars. Users will come back again and again to play these, but they will grow more and more tired if they need to keep grinding the Indy. With Shift 2 coming up you need to do something extraordinary to keep many of us around..

hi everyone, I'm not sure if this has already been put on the wishlist but adding on these requests, how about he ability for Ferrari f1's to be able to e used in a-spec, b-spec and online races without special restrictions? I feel that these cars are too limited in this game yet they are very cool cars. I mean if we're allowed to drive the FGT and the X2010 in most races, why can't these Ferrari formulas be used too?

The ability to turn the music, and sound effects up and down in the pause menu, instead of having to go out to the main menu set the volume then, go into a race to see if what you want isnt too loud, and if it is you got to quit hte race and do it over again, its annoying. And perhaps the ability to upload replays to youtube or export them to your xmb so you can edit them withs the ps3 editing system. And more paint options, cause maybe I dont want white racing stripes on my matte ford gt, or maybe i want the classic orange strip with light blue paint, or something strange. Even if you have to use another paint chip i wouldnt care.
Tire grip changing, better sounds, better descriptions, More wind / shake / speed blur effects AND not in cockpit mode, revised HP and weight #'s untuned, and for every tuning option should provide a realistic amount (alot of cars would be able to get alot more HP, and cars with same engines like all the r32-34 and the zzii with the rb26 being able to get the same hp) BETTER TUNING OPTIONS! (hopefully completely revise tuning options, cams, valvetrain, rotating assembly, heads, intake, exhaust, roll cages, brakes, tire width and rim width/height, blockwork (girdle, strengthening, notching to fit certain rods) compression ratio #'s, better dyno graph, boost #'s, adjustable timing, better aerodynamics for cars (my tvr speed 12 should easily be able to go 400+ km/hr) more car statistics in general (how much total spring travel, tire pressure, body rigidity) better tire physics, TUNING PRICE CHANGES, more a spec and b spec events, hopefully more tracks and at least 50 more events, have them placed better and cars alot more even, make licenses a requirement for each level of racing (b for beginner, a for amateur, ib for pro, ia for expert, s for extreme + enduro)
Save a few different tunes per car, all the features from GT3 and 4 that were good and left out.
UMMMMM so many more, I dont really think anyone wants me to keep going

GT5 is a real driving simulator? Firstly, if it's raining like a cats and dogs and you watch a replay of an online race... isn't funny the leaders windshield wipers are not on? Oh yeah... not using cockpit view! Make an option to make drivers use cockpit view only for online racing. Yes I know, Premium cars only but let's make it fair!
Secondly, and this drives me crazy, but we're talking about a "real driving simulator", right? WHY DOES THE BRAKES OVERRIDE THE GAS? Hmmm... 700HP... gas and brake pedals slammed down at 100%... and blahhhhhh! 1% engine sound, no burnout, equals no realistic driving simulator. In GT5 Prologue the gas overpowered the brakes... why did they take this feature out in GT5?

Add a category to A-Spec based around time trials on the Nordschleife. No limits, but time targets set by PP. Percentage multipliers for times under the Gold targets.
Also, a two-lap race on the Nordschliefe against a middling field (like the Extreme Euro Championship) with no entry limits. Kaz could set the reward at 10k and Id still grind that until GT6 comes out.
Id also love GT5 to be aware of my car use and car love. Like rewarding me for driving a car for the first time and clocking a nice time within two hours of purchase, reminding me which cars in my garage have never been driven, rewarding me for completing manufacturer sets, for nice times in manufacturer sets and so on.

1. Optional qualifying for races like in GT3 -- If I'm the points leader in a series, there is NO reason why I should be starting from the middle or the back
2. Drop the leveling system, and remove the $20 mil cap
3. More events, or better yet, an event editor that I've been asking for since GT3
4. Resolve the trading controversies by making an online auction house...See how EA sports does it for their online Ultimate Teams
5. EVERY CAR should have a resale value
6. For the love of god, please put in an '11 Mustang...The fact that the most recent 'stang is '07 is criminal...I could actually write a book about GT5's eccentric car selections, but I guess I'll save it for GT6 discussion...

We want a 1.1 update! Not as some things that are including 0.0000004389 version
I think the grip has been reduced a bit from m latest online racing escapades. would like that grip back please 
also what really grinds my gears (Peter Griffin) is the fact that when you race on "bumper view" you actually still seem to be in the cockpit, in terms of the fact that there seems to be an invisible wall in front of your car. this is highly irritating when ur racing close to someone and end up sending them into a spin because what looks like 6ft of space is actually 0ft. :rage:

One more small thing I'd like to add, I wish they'd fix the F430. Admittedly, the F430 Scuderia and 458 are much better in my opinion, but I bought the F430 to add to my collection and for photos, unaware of the issues within. The reverse lights don't work, there is no light on the dash for main beam lights (the Scud has one), the driver reaches down asif he is moving a gear shifter, even though this car is paddle shift and I don't think Ferrari even made a manual F430 at all. Another thing that annoys me is that you are unable to change the rims, and there is no alternate interior cameras in replay mode.
I'm sure everyone knows about this, but surely it can't be that hard to fix for them.

Sort garage by count - so you can identify duplicates
Some kind of garage list export so you can keep a better track of missing cars
Increase Credits and Experience to Xmas levels and Seasonal races to previous bonus levels.
Remove 1 gift per PS3 limitation so family members can play separate profiles.
Have separate garage folders for different types of cars - eg. Rally, RM, Race, Touring, NASCAR, and a tab for ALL cars combined (so you can sort)
Endurance saves
Endurance races should only need to be raced once per level up
Paint preview
More rally events - mountain passes, snow, ice, dirt etc
Be able to fit dirt+snow tyres to any car
Drag strip and recorded performance stats per car - listed in setting stats, and sortable
Topgear track standing start record lap times

The basic F430 has a manual tranny. Paddle shift is an option.
Anyway i would like same physics off/online.

I'd love an extra audio option when racing to switch to external engine sound, no matter what view i was using. The exterior sounds are so much more appealing to me.

You know what needs doing PD. Mid race saves for endurance races, and mid championship saves
Some more photo mode locations would be nice, and the ability to open the cars doors for better interior photos.
Better replay controls so you can skip forward/backward laps. Some kind of ability to export/convert PS3 movie files to avi's.
It would also be nice to fast forward B Spec endurance races.
A livery editor would be great. Also the ability to choose from a palette of colours instead of just paint tokens. A full car and/or wheel preview of the new colour would be great.

C-Spec mode....which basically is a free roam map, were you can drive around a big map like in test drive or need for speed hot pursuit. If GT5 is trying to be more of a car loving game, than an actual racer, than this is just perfect....way to explore your dream car.
