Patch 1.09 Wishlist

You need to chill out man. We all read the news, we all try to get on with our lives too, some people help out in anyway they can. PD didn't stop working during hurricane Katrina i'm sure, or Haiti.

My point exactly.

FIX LOGITECH G27 PROBLEM
- 6 red buttons on the wheel ( only two of them are working )
- clutch seems little but weird ( MUST BE SMOOTH LIKE REAL CARS !! )
- Adjust buttons ...

MAKE IT OFFICIAL !!

I have locked and removed other threads about seasonal updates etc since the earthquake/tsunami, but this one was here long before and is still a valid thread.

You've made your point, now just ignore the thread if you don't wish to contribute.

another part: cars should not get cleaned automatically after a race. washing makes no sense at the moment :D

Finally 👍

Yes! The cars should stay dirty, I want pictures of cars that show usage, not cars that have run for 1000's and 1000's of km's and still look like they are in the showroom!

Hope the next patch will finally add a save option in endurance. If not I'll do my own GT5. With blackjack. and hookers.

You know what forget the whole thing!

-What I would really like to see is A-spec events with levels of damage *OPTIONAL*. The ones that manage to finish the race using damage should get more experience points/cash than not using damage at all.

-Logitech G25 full clutch support. Just make it analog.

-Make events PP restricted.

If the above came true , GT would be the absolute masterpiece. The rest of the experience is as it should be already.

-Everything more added, either races, events, or whatever of course is more than welcome :)

I like this idea, it's what I wanted to say. 👍

- - An option to choose between the new car animation or just a confirm window, I'm at the process of buying all the cars in the game and the song, time and stupid animation is driving me mad, I have to mute the TV and just mindlessly click X
- Also, when you buy a car, stay at the dealership, not go to the main menu

Definitely these. It takes forever to buy a few cars. At first it was exciting, but now it's just boring and annoying. A big waste of time in my opinion.

Personally I would prefer to see this for online races.

I always wished that there was a significant bonus payout, relative to position, at the end of races for people who made it through races without getting any damage. An incentive to drive clean. So it would be possible for say third place to get more money than first if he did it without damage, while first place had rammed into someone or bounced off a wall. Or they could do it in reverse and reduce payouts if you got damage: i.e. you are forced to pay for the repairs that need to be done to your car based on the amount of damage. It would be extra sweet if the damage system actually forced you to choose between repairing your car or writing it off! :mischievous:

Another Thing:

the Money and Exp in the Formula Championsship is much too less. both, money and exp should be at least twice as now i think.

another idea for a new event in the extreme series: a event for the F2007 or F10 :). maybe even as endurance race on Monaco or something :)

when racing online, during qualification, you be able to see the others guys time (if you'r in pole)
Just a simple +.125; +.235; +1.115 after the name is enough, because if you in pole you realy don't know how much faster you are...

THIS...

I want that my cars show their battle scars! and the dust from the hard times!

And Point-to-point tracks for the course maker!

More controls for replays, such as slow motion for capturing car "backfires" from shifting down, or a little slider that could scroll through the race instead of waiting for the race to proceed before you get to that part and/or missing it because you're a bit slow at pressing "start" in a finger snap.

I'm not reading through 25 pages of this, so I apologize if it's already been said.

I noticed a lot of people are talking about grinding for money, whether it's legit the way the devs intended, or by breaking out of tracks through glitches, doesn't matter.

In my opinion, the entire financial system in the game needs an overhaul. First of all, either change the prices of the cars, or change the rewards for online and offline races. Second. Get rid of chassis refresh, engine rebuild, and change oil. Yes, we get it PD, your game is realistic, congrats. But there are certain reasons we play games, and one of them is as a form of escapism, and excess realism is a buzzkill. Next thing you know, if we don't have enough Cr. for a car, they'll let us finance for 6.9% APR, and if we don't pay off after a certain number of in-game days, the car gets repossessed. But anyway, I mentioned removing these items not only to save us money, (ok the oil change isn't expensive, but this goes on to a later point). When you have an expensive car, and you're saving up to buy another, who really wants to spend money to get that car back up to "like new" conditions? My next point, when I buy a car in the game, it states it's HP. But it infuriates me that the numbers are only approximations, and that they change after performing oil change/engine rebuild, and go up/down as the car is driven. This is a game, knock that sh** off. Tell me what the HP of the car is, and have it stay consistent unless I add or remove mods.

Lastly, and this doesn't affect gameplay in any way, but it annoys me no less because I hate redundancy, get rid of the car delivery system in the game where you have to select the ticket and have the car delivered to my garage. WTF else do you think I wanna do with that car? In EVERY OTHER GT GAME, prize cars went straight to your garage. Why did PD change that?

Beyond all that, I wanna see what everyone else wants, saving during enduros, saving mid-championship. Err, one last thing, I want the option to turn off the suggested gear display on the hud and only the suggested gear display. I forget if it was GT3 or 4 where you could turn it off, but only by switching from "full" to "simple" display IIRC, and switching to simple got rid of other stuff. I don't like being told what gear to be in, and I really don't like that it starts flashing to serve as a brake now indicator.

Sorry for the rant, I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way about the things I mentioned, and I also hope I'm not beating a dead horse.

The top ten finishers in each race score points towards for the drivers’ standing. In the case for a championship place then the driver with the higher number of superior race results will be awarded the place.

"Safety Car"
-If an accident or incident occurs that is not severe enough to warrant suspending the race, but which cannot be dealt with under yellow flags, then the safety car will be called on to the circuit to slow the cars down.
- Every each lap completed while the safety car is deployed will be counted as a race lap.
-When the order is given to deploy the safety car the message "SAFETY CAR DEPLOYED" will be displayed on the timing monitors and all marshal's posts will display waved yellow flags and "SC" boards for the duration of the intervention.
-All competing cars must then reduce speed and form up in line behind the safety car no more than ten car lengths apart. In order to ensure that drivers reduce speed sufficiently, from the time at which the “SAFETY CAR DEPLOYED”
-Whilst the safety car is in operation, competing cars may enter the pit lane, but may only rejoin the track when the green light at the end of the pit lane is on. It will be on at all times except when the safety car and the line of cars following it are about to pass or are passing the pit exit . A car rejoining the track must proceed at an appropriate speed until it reaches the end of the line of cars behind the safety car.
-If the safety car is still deployed at the beginning of the last lap, or is deployed during the last lap, it will enter the pit lane at the end of the lap and the cars will take the chequered flag as normal without
-Each lap completed while the safety car is deployed will be counted as a race lap.

"Parc Ferme"
"Practice & Qualifying"
-At the start of the race the cars that took part in Q3 must be fitted with the tyres the driver used to set his grid time.
-

"Parade Lap(Japanese)"
- Thirty minutes before the start of the formation lap the safety car will take up position at the front of the grid and remain there until the five minute signal is given. At this point it will cover a whole lap of the circuit and take up position.
-The pit lane closes 15 minutes prior to the formation lap. Any drivers still in the pit lane at this time will have to start the race from there.
-Drivers are then free to complete a reconnaissance lap of the circuit before taking up their grid positions. If a driver wishes to complete additional reconnaissance laps he must pass through the pit lane each time in order to bypass the grid.
-During the formation lap no practice starts are allowed. Overtaking is also forbidden unless passing a car that has slowed due to a technical problem. Passed cars may in turn re-overtake in order to regain their grid position if the problem is resolved during the course of the formation lap.

I'd like to have the forced ASM in S-8 licence to be taken off.
It has killed the competition on that specific licence as a high 2'25 is the best can be currently done.
Before the forced ASM it was possible to run a 2'24 - 2'23 👎
