It is definitely a product of patch 1.12. Recently in the last couple weeks when I had some extra time, I was going through my cars and changing the paint on alot of them. I have around 650 paint chips right now, and I used to be able to scroll through as many as I want while holding the down button on the directional pad on my DS3. Now the cursor jumps to the left like others stated after about the 30th paint chip.
It is actually quite annoying. It is not a game breaker by an means, but that doesn't mean it's not freaking annoying. And the most annoying thing is that PD keeps releasing patch after patch, to fix bugs and whatnot, but with each new patch, comes more new bugs that weren't there before. It's an endless annoying frustrating cycle it seems.
I mean I love the GT series, have been a fan since day one when the first Gran Turismo was released on the original Playstation. Played and enjoyed every GT game since then. So with GT5, it's not specifically a certain new bug, like this one about the cursor jumping to the left, that is frustrating me, but every time a new patch is released, there's more bugs that are introduced, which means that PD has to spend more time, and release patch after patch just to fix them.
That is what is really bugging me(pun intended). To me, I think all hope is lost with this game anymore. I mean I still play it and enjoy racing, but it just seems like it's stuck in a ditch and no amount of horsepower or torque is enough to pull it out. I hate to say it but Forza 4 is looking really good right now, alot more user friendly and like the developers are actually implementing features and things that make sense and would make the game more fun.
Unless PD blows us away with some really cool new features in the next couple patches, without adding any more bugs that will require more patches to fix, then I think I may end up taking the big suicidal leap and buy that other console to try Forza 4....
