Well remember it'll be at least a year or two or three or nine before we see the F-15E or any full-fidelity replacement for the FC3 planes. I'm still glad I have it even though I've gotten the hang of the full-fidelity experience with the Mirage.

The guys I regularly fly with were online tonight so I joined. Only plane available: the Mirage.... "Come on Carlos just buy it you'll like it!" they said. Group pressure.. Nice.
We were hunting Mig-15's but it wasn't so easy to shoot them out of the air. Needed some time to get used to the flying model, but that didn't take long. I like that the plane goes where you put the nose. Couldn't find the radar switch they were talking about so I had cannon only Then we went back to the airport but we ran out of fuel lol..

Yay! It is a really nice plane to fly but it'll be even better when they make the missiles not crap. The radar switch was probably hidden underneath your throttle.
edit: this was a mistake. I set the weather to snowstorm and tried an ILS landing. With crazy amounts of crosswind the synthetic runway is pretty much useless because either the runway is off the HUD or the rest of the data is! Let's just say I did not make this landing work...

I found this a very nice guide for A-10C, maybe useful for in the OP? It has many images with texts next to it to explain what is what etc. Compared to other guides for the A-10C I found this the best one..

Chuck's guides are the best! I used his to learn most of the Mirage within a week or two. His guide helps tremendously when all the controls are in French 👍

That cockpit model bug that was introduced in the latest patch is really bothering me.
Look to the sides of the front dash of the cockpit, where those pieces of string are attached.

"So..we got a new 3d artist/developer joining our DCS ranks, please welcome Egar and his Emb-312 Tucano. These are early renders and the model is currently going thru extensive work to make it DCS functional.
The model might look familiar to some, since it has been marketed as "APEX Emb-312" for the FSX/P3D community.The DCS version will be marketed under the RAZBAM brand for the DCS comunity and will be based (after it´s done it´s fair to say loosely based) on this very same mesh.As usual, no release dates or deadlines, it will be ready..when ready

I also had my first go in this in at least a few weeks. The Mirage's radar still doesn't work in multiplayer, its missiles still suck, and I still desperately need a hardware upgrade, but I still love it... especially when I find a new skin
