Hey, who's havin' all the fun when I'm not about?

My answer:
Not I....

Pedro....where are you....I'm still waiting for this massive TT update you promised us.:D

J/K, you gonna run this week's race or are you still busy with work?

Man there's lots of people logged on right now...why don't y'all come into Pedro's Paddock and have a brew???

Well hey there fellas!

Im just stopping in to say hello... you know, last night was a nice night for me.

I got seven & sevens all night and my best friend (my little bro) got to chill with me... (finally got a night off)

My only problem with nights like last where its smoke and booze till far too late, is that Im worth nothing in the end when I try to hit up a couple of laps.

Although, thats to be expected right. I mean, we all know not to drink and drive, so I guess its only fitting that I cant race worth a **** at 1:30 after drinking all night.

Oh yeah, I should mention to you all that, although I was drinking those little girly mixed 7&7's last night, Im really a beer man.

Dark is good for me... Actually Ive really grown quite fond of amber jack. Its just like a cheap domestic, but its got the dark beer flavor going for it.

Then again, on average, the "green bottle" beers are just as good. (most of them atleast)

Anyway, tonight might be the same thing since tomorrow is a free day. (labor day is a holiday for americans honoring the true working man)

So I'll catch you guys later... till then, every body have one on me... just put the bill on my tab ;)

Well, I went to the local pub and said, GoKents said he'd pick up the tab. They said, "Who the F- is that?" So I paid

After one or two trials at this week’s race with the Integra at Seattle I think I may pass on this one… This is a bit to much for me, I think…:(

So I stopped by the pub for a drink.

Anyway, this Monday I finally got an x-port and so this week all my GT time will probably be spent trying out those hidden cars from GT Concept :D – the Cooper Rally, 350Z Razo, the Alfas (147, Spider, GTV), the Punto Abarth, etc. My latest “garage” is a mostly European garage out of the Pacific one, with some cars from GT3 that as you know are also there (156, 328ci, CLK55, CL600, 3400S, S4, etc.) I was amazed by how some of these cars look so much better in GT Concept!
I haven’t seen all yet but the Alfa Romeo 156, a great car that IMO in GT3 just looks “wrong” with those squared lines, in GT Concept is just like the real thing! It looks great, even the Alfa red is better!
And the MK’s program is really sweet; I knew I could get help here if needed but so far it all looks pretty straightforward …

So, I have to take that Type R Integra to Seattle and have another go…
definitely maybe!

gettin tired of my 140km clocked up from the s2k so i have dropped into the pub to chat

Alright fellas.

I wanted to do some chating, but I knew that unrelated topics did not really belong in the various weekly race threads.

So I remember this sucker, searched and found a perfect little thread for just generalized chatting among the various weekly racers who have got nothing better to do. :D

So here it is, and as for me... Im gonna be back soon, but for now, I just don't have all that much on my mind. :blankminded:

Till next time. ;)

Sadly, I don't think I will be able to attend.

Aside from school and obligations to real life, I also have no money.

Dallas is atleast 8 hours from here and the second place keep is only 300.

With max going to dallas, and the second place keep barely covering the travel expense, I don't see much point to going any more.

I can only hope that one day New Orleans will be on the list of cities in the mlg schedule, but for now, it is only a dream.

I gotta admit though, I sure was looking forward to using these skills I acquired thanks to the weekly.

Just in case you guys didn't know, I came into the weekly for week 1 and registered as an amatuer. (div 1,2,3 replaced beginner, amatuer, pro later on in the series)

But yeah, I started in div 2 and worked my way to div 1, so it would be nice to go out and get drunk in dallas and then win some money playing gt3.
(that is, under the assumption that I would podium.) (I think I would though. :trouble: ;) )

i'll pass on the vodka' lol but ill glady join you for a drink, care for an "Elephant Charger"?

fill up a glass with elephant beer (i think its danish) , drop a shot of wiskey in (shotglass an all) then knock the whole thing back in one go, aahhhhhhh tasty

Hey fellas :D

Just dropping in because frankly, I would rather post up generalized chit chat here than in another forum that has mods who care about spam.

Just kidding, but I guess I should mention some of the stuff that's going down in my area.

First off, I am back on the train. I managed to get a copy of gt3 for what is possibly the best deal in video game history.

6.99 for a used copy of gt3.
(with warranty)

How can you beat that?

I mean, this game has amazing replay value and yet still it sells for only 20 dollars new, and less than ten used.

Needless to say, I was just happy to get a copy of the game in my ps2 again.

Btw, breaking that disc was rough, and I posted a long story about it but I lost the post to a bad internet connection, so I never got to explain and I don't really want to... however, to make that story really short... :drunk:

Anyway, catch you guys around, maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day, but I will indeed catch you all around. :odd:

I hear ya Kent, right now I have one broken DS2 and a DVD remote(not PS2) on my open PS2 just so it will run, it's life support, and it's failing fast. I need a new one or to fix this one, either way, this one's only running because of a popsicle stick and a cut up playing card, a miracle if you ask me.

anyway, tis fairly quite on the boards latly, here and over at the 'numbers, not many posts latly, so ill guess ill have to go and play more gt3 lol

100 in the mini is for a mini fanatic I guess.

And not to pick, but just so you look better in front of the rest of the world one day (hopefully ;) ) ...

Quiet - the opposite of loud
&
Quite- as in "that's quite a nice hat boone."

Not trying to pick... just a hint in the true sense of constructive criticism. ;)

Alright, my bad, I'm an arse.

On a side note, I started running the dream car championship in pro league last night. I'm running with an RX7 rz bought from the dealer, then modified fully (with the substitution of a stage 2 turbo for the fully tuned stage 4 turbo).

Boy that's a fun one... I wanted to play the championship like it was before I had an xport, so I'm racing each race. That sucked for the first race since it was a 15 lap go on the test course. Luckily, that is out of the way and now I have a steady point advantage after only 2 races. :D

This all makes me want to do something I have never done, and so, I'm gonna head over to the write-ups forum.

Catch you guys later. :D

I'm gonna get back to the Uber enduro Mini races as soon as I get my hands on a F094/s, I had a shot at it but I forgot to save after the #9 race and only got the Toyota GT One:mad: :banghead:

Thanks boone, glad to see you actually read my post.

I do have a write up for 3 or 4 of the races in the dream car championship, but I was going to wait until I had completed the entire series before posting the write ups.

Then I ran into trouble with it because I was running a 506hp Rx7 rz that I just didn't have the patience or dedication to lead through the series.

It was a line up with each of the fake LM race cars and 1 zz2. It was rough. Rx7 lm, alteeza lm, fto lm, s2000 lm... They were whipping my ass once my car made it down to only 506hp. So 3rd was my placing for the last race I ran, and the race after that was so hard to keep up in that I didn't even bother running.

Since then I haven't run anything in the series. That took its toll and now my write up has come to a halt.

Maybe in a few weeks, or maybe just the 4 races I have written up, but eventually I hope to get something in there. However, for now, the write ups are not gonna be anywhere but on my pc. :D

I gotta mention though...

I need you guys to go throw out some suggestions in the suggestions thread.

You saw what happend last time, and with the miata race, as well as the Arcade car race I promised to Zer0h ( :cough: :cough: The arcade car race that same person never ran. ;) ).

But yeah, you guys see that I take suggestions into account, so please, go and suggest something for this week coming up... if you don't it will be all on me, and I have something in mind already. :trouble:

Hi all, with a bit of luck in the next week or two I should be able to join you guys in the weekly race series again :) I'll keep you posted

Well, I haven't gotten to my goal yet, I've done 22 and a half laps at the Test Course in a 145 HP Mini, but the 200 eludes me, I'll try after I get this week done so I won't be busy:D
