Performance Point drag racing?

One of my friends came up with the idea of having drag races set up to specific performance points and if successful create a performance point drag racing league. Do you think that would be a good idea?
Main rule: No Hacks!

Honestly the drag scene for gt5 is becoming smaller and smaller. Since the release of gta5 the majority of people who used to play all the time no longer do.

It's been tried and done already, it's a nice little diversion from the norm but I doubt it would have the interest to support a league devoted to it.

It would be a great idea! There is one con though: certain cars that are to dominant need to be banned, people will not like that rule.

i would rather classify drag cars with their times, not with their PP.
