To race cars down this long Benjamin Franklin Parkway would be so awesome. Especially if one is of this region

@carsforever I had a little free time and was intrigued by this location (it does look pretty nice!), so I went online and whipped up a little track map. In red is what I think the course should be with green being pit lane and white being the line. The yellow as the second choice. I put around the fountain in blue because I wasn't as keen on running it because it would be kind of the same thing as Madrid, and in real life that would probably be a great area for either VIP tents or merchandise tents and concessions. However, I couldn't decide on which direction it should go. I'm thinking counter-clockwise but the pit lane exit might get dangerous. Also, there is a slightly incontinent avenue on Spring Garden St that isn't a big deal but would be better without, so maybe PD can PD-magic that right out! But yeah, I think this would be a great location, for sure beautiful scenery, and would probably be more eye pleasing than the other street circuits!

@Amac500, thank you for the work you've put into expanding the understanding and enhancing its appeal. It now has my vote!

And while I share your concerns about the similarity to Madrid, maybe it's possible to water down the "Madridness".

Would it work if, rather than having the long straight return after the roundabout, the track were to take us north towards Barnes Foundation, and then zig-zag through to Hamilton Street thus taking us back onto the red line?

PS. It might require the construction of an underground connection with sweeping curves, and the occupation of the Whole Foods parking lot.

Sorry I didn't see the notification. Yeah I think that could work as well. So it would be taking 20th street up to Hamilton and Hamilton to 21st. That would be good for length too because the red line I think is just under 1.5 miles, so lengthening it would be good. If that was to be done, perhaps we run the yellow line for more of a straight. The direction with the yellow line should probably be clockwise in order to avoid braking under hard braking zones.

In addition, I was thinking there could be some long-distance drag racing circuits with slight turns. In other words, the cars should race both north and southbound on Delaware Expressway I-95 from PHL Airport to Rivers Casino. I know that's about a 18-mile stretch, but it would be quite exciting and scenic as the race cars would slipstream each other over that length. After all, the extended Nurburgring is over 14 miles long per lap.

Only in this proposed case, it would just be a race from Point A to Point B

As well as have weather options from dry, rain and snow

Not to mention, would this idea give off vibes of Wangan Midnight to you? That would be neat. A chance to take a car flat out with only slight bends. And the option to turn off unwanted traffic.
