meanwhile.. i shall chop mah truck.. again.. lol
click for high-res.. You'll want to, so you can see some of the detail work i did :D

completely rebrushed PJ from chrome to bodywork.. everything except wheels. If you want the original just let me know.. lol

.. oh, and my half-done plans for teh all trac :D

[wheels will be different, and i will not be ricing out the interior.. stock leather ftw!]

Sure, no problem. :)
As for the flat rim comment, if you noticed the rear wheel, the wheel looks really like pasted on and looks very 2 dimensional and not 3, which is why it looks flat. :p

suzq044: So sorry but I got to say this...... your work sucks!!!!!! :yuck: I mean, I'm not a big fan of big SUVs and all, but it looks just like one of those ugly gangsta rapper DUB vehicles with all the bling-bling and 🤬 The rims looks awful, the paintjob has no taste and the light is just FAIL! (I know you did a good job on it, but I hate it!) I know that you have done better chops than this, but this one isn't really living up to my expectation. 👎

Don't hate me suzq :nervous:

lol - i spent a whole of 20 minutes on the thing; i wasn't planning on building the thing; i used the paintjob cause kodiak is a bear. lol .. major reason for even DOING the chop, was pure, unadulterated BOREDOM :dunce: - so no offence taken ;)

Well as far as the truck chop, the body is so dark it has almost zero detail in it. I can't see where any of the body lines are hardly, its just flat looking. The chrome is not so great either, i know that doing chrome in PS is really hard though. The bumpers are really fake looking, thats the thing that stuck out the most to me. On the alltrac, i like the way it is besides the hood...yuck, and the mismatched color on the rims. I always hate the mismatched, super ricey to me, but so is the hood to me. Its all about personal style i suppose. I like sleek and smooth and plain, most of the time all black. A good 99% of the time i like your work with no complaints, but this time on that truck i actually had some.

I think i just need to lighten up the black a little for you.. click for high-res. If you can't see the details & body lines, you need to lighten your monitor. Its supposed to be flat/satin black, so I am not adding reflections etc. to it.

As per the AllTrac, yes I am getting one, i basically have it locked down with the owner; the only thing stopping me from owning it is logistics [having money at the time she gets new car] :) - As I said though; it was unfinished, i didnt finish the chop - i was going to do the rear wheel too. lol -- I like the hood, its one of the best factory hoods imo; i like it better than this one:

I know the paint is suppose to be a kind of hot rod throw back type flat black and all. I adjusted my gamma to about 1.8 and there we go. I don't know how it got off so bad, kids must have been messing with the monitor.I can see all the detail but im still not a fan of it, its not done bad or anything its just too cartoonish for my tastes.

yeah; they're just a street car here [a very hard to find one]; considering the US is too sue-happy to let the WRC play around here.. i would love to watch.

Yes, i wasn't in that partly because i didn't know what you were on about...

Good. Can't see anything wrong with the rims, or lowering, except weird bit behind the bumper. Hood scoop is good, but slightly off (bit too much rotated), main front grill is alrite, maybe fill it in with some mesh, bumper vents are alrite, 'eyelids' are OK, the one on the left has a bump in it and the right one's colour's are slightly off. I also couldn't help but lol at the woman , you spelt "holden Vivo" wrong , and I like the bit on the ground.

I like it 👍

Got allot better since the first few tries on chopping glanza, you have. Practice makes perfect, it, well theres no such thing as perfect but you get. Keep up the good work mate. Hmmmmmm. (Thanks Master Yoda:sly:)

Remember when you said you wouldn't try anymore and was being a 4 year old about it? Yes, now you see that we were helping you out, no need to get angry mate, just practice. Its paid off and your doing much better. Only thing that i see wrong really is the 2 spots in the background from lowering, one is in the front of the car and the other is in the rear. Its not a big deal because after working on a chop all the way through i usually miss something like that also. I do like your sig chalked on the ground though, nice touch:cool:

I did notice something to point out to you. On the drivers side headlight eye deal you made you need to watch how the shadows and highlights are running on the paint around the area. On the image there is the shadow there going down the hood from it looks like the palm tree but on the headlight brow it kind of stops and the color is a hair too bright for that area since its in the shadow. I think i might do a chop either tonight or tomorrow. I haven't done one in so, so long. I just haven't had any motive or want to do one in the last...well....about 6 months really. I will look around at source pics and see if something sparks my motive flame.

Agreed.

Agreed

I would like to point something very minor.
At the top and bottom of the main vent, there is still light grey bits from the mesh on there. Also on our left of the numberplate there is some light grey...hang on that was already there...

know what's funny? noone pointed out the pixelized giant eyes on that girl in the back  x 100

I didn't even notice that oh so creepy chick back there:lol:
Then again i was looking at the chop and not scanning the background for jacobs ladder type people running around.

I was so focussed on the chop that i didn't even realise he chalk until someone pointed it out. That chick is crazy for da car:drool:

Well its finally done, and I really liked the outcome of my chop....... :D
