Dont worry, im sort of in the middle of a chop. I wont post it for a few days yet, i might progress in it over the weekend.

Also what is related between his post and mine?
 
Really? Are you sure they weren't imports? If they were actually sold then they mustn't be very popular over here because normally you see plenty of 90's cars around.
 
i think they were imported, by the rover group during the 90s when they did silly things with honda, all sorts of odd bits like rebadged honda integras called rover 416. aus coupes had honda engines too..i dont know how well they did but i know one whole shipped lot came back after emissions failure!
 
I don't post them here, because i get better feedback elsewhere, (no offense), but this is just a thread, not a site dedicated to photoshop work, like photoshop-garage.com ; photoshopchop.com (which i rarely visit, due to lack of responses); ultimatecarpage.com (i also rarely visit there, because it's practically dead)

by "better feedback" i mean - critique, not "it's cool" or "[drool image]".. doesn't help me improve.

But how can you POSSIBLY improve? You're one of the best photoshoppers I have ever seen! I love it whenever you post your work here. 👍

Well its okay, I know how you like to keep your work to yourself and sell them off to make money. :p
Do you post your chops at Digimods as well? I think they have the best choppers in their forum, and I think you could even get one of your work shown on their front page! :dopey:

Did you know people do really well because they strive for perfection? the artist (i believe) almost always never sees perfection in any 1 piece of their work. there's always something he/she feels that can be adjusted. Especially if it's designing something, in this case Chopping.

That can be said for anything, from artist to criminals to race driver to whatever, nothing is perfect to them. They may be the best at what their doing but if they slack of one bit they may fall behind. So they strive to become better.... 👍
 
all that is because there is ALWAYS someone better than you, but in the photoshop-realm that person could be 12 years old, and make someone like me look like a newb, simply due to their imagination, and skill to back it up.
 
Haven't chopped for a while, and a few recent attempts didn't exactly come out to plan anyway. Here is a pic which I've added effects etc. From GT4.

 
I lkike that angle, and the car looks great with those sets of rims. You may be annoying on MSN but you get it poppin' when it comes to photoshopping pics. Nice work TL.

And he does it again, which program you use to photoshop? I almost didn't recognize the car in the first shot, the only flaw in it is the tail pipe which has anti-aliasing. Other than that these shots are pretty top notch. :)
 
Thanks heaps, I didn't even notice the tailpipe myself :lol: I'm still using the good old PS CS2. I love the backgrounds in that GT4 location, it has a lot of bright, saturated colours. I thought the dark colour of the car and leaving the colours there would contrast well. 👍

No, not really. Instead of a real car I took a picture from GT4 to be 'that' real car.

I miss this thread. I am also not used to people using Turbo's first name either:scared: Those pics are great though other than the exhaust on the second one. I use photoshop CS, the first one:crazy: But on my laptop and my other pc which i have no permission to use have cs3:tup:

Come on guys, I really enjoy looking at some of the work everyone does, please don't clutter up the thread with GT photos...and non-photoshopped ones at that. I don't really want to see this thread closed.

There is a reason why there is a GT4 gallery in this forum, so that you could post your GT4 photos in it! Not saying that I don't like your work or anything but I mean those aren't even photoshopped to this threads standards! If this thread gets locked for OT then I have to blame it on you guys...... :grumpy:
 
Yes, if you don't have a chop or at least a question about chopping just keep it to yourself or post it where it goes. Its not hurting anything with the thread just being dead. I haven't been in the mood to do a chop in a while now, i will get a car and just sit there and look at it. You can't force ideas so i just sit and stare until i say ah forget it...
