I ordered from TEMU
May I recommend Balandis if you decide to take pipe smoking seriously?

I’ve had around 3 or 4 of their pipes and they are a superb smoke. They aren’t expensive and they’re all hand crafted from Poland or Russia. I’ve had them shipped to Thailand without waiting weeks.

As for the tobacco itself, that’s a personal choice, but if you can get St. Bruno ready-rubbed (from Spain, I think) that’s worth a go. Probably one of the best pipe tobaccos I’ve used.

This is the pipe I use daily. It's my recreational pipe. It's specially carved from meerschaum.

I've had it for 15 years.

Do you not want to glaze the meerschaum? I’ve got a pre-WW1 meerschaum in storage somewhere that has a beautiful lacquer glaze. I daren’t smoke it in case it loses lustre. But I read that it help preservation.

The best way to preserve meerschaum is to constantly touch it. It preserves both its color and its surface. However, using it every day is not good. Using it every two weeks is healthy.

Glad to see another pipe smoker enjoying the hobby.
I have a tasting pipe that I recommend. I use it to try tobaccos I see or am recommended by friends. It's small and fits in my pocket. It's made of mother-of-pearl, which is beautiful. If you don't have it, definitely try it, it works great.
