Watching the replay now. #21 Jumped the start and ran Lessen (and someone else) off the road in race 1.

Race 2 at the start #11 ran into Lobban who ran into me who ran into #71. I know Lobban and I had to drive with damage the rest of the race. By the time Alex crossed the line there were people still before pit entrance.

I will say Alex likes to own the entire road. No fun coming up behind him...no matter how much faster you are. If you aren't clearly in front of him then I think he pretends you don't exist :)

Ya, that was a hell of a thump in my rear from you Joe, no wonder you had damage, I was braking hard to avoid doing the same thing to flipper. We need to have some discussion re the rolling start so that doesn't happen again. Minimum consistent speed, everyone making sure they are close to the driver in front of them well before the start. We really should have restarted the race but with so many of us in private chat rooms it was impossible to communicate.

I have quite enjoyed some of the combo's I've driven in the practice area but agree with the overall dissatisfaction. I have to admit I got a bit caught up in the hype and pre-ordered, something I don't usually do. Would I have bought it now if I hadn't, unlikely!
 
Yeah Aero, Lobbans car was lifted off the ground from the rear and his car lifted mine off it's rear wheels as well. Definitely a restart would have been nice. But who am I but an infrequent visitor to the world of PCars lately ;)
 
Just tried AC. Hhhmmm were to begin. Lets start at the end. After 1 hour of driving I easily walked away to make dinner. Is the driving "feel" good? Sure is, very good to be exact. Yet, I just became use to using the hood view in Pcars and AC does not have hood view. I tried chase cam, yet the car appears to float above the track.

Look forward to tying later tonight. Can I list a bunch of needed improvements, sure but you can list improvements in every game.

Bottom line, Is it FUN? I don't play these games to feed my family, I play for fun.

Give me a week or so and I will answer that question.

Another fun night........ Except for the start of race two. I was damaged for the whole race after the Cluster f... Of a start.
Jax on fire race two, what a battle all race.👍. Don't ever doubt your raccing skills my friend.
I was taped up like a football lineman last night, my wrist issues are back, had to immobilize it with duct tape. My thumbs too, I have huge calluses on both thumbs from driving this galldarn game. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Oh , the horror,, the horror.
I wonder if Hazzard races with GTR? So far out front, there was no catching him, just like the little rat face GTR..lol.👍
I guess today will be an AC day, try and find a connection to the new game.

You don't.

You view the replay like you normally would within the game. You then begin recording (double press the share button on the controller) whatever you want to record. Remember, the system record whatever is onscreen so you record whatever you want to show. In the above examples, those guys watched/recorded a short clip of their driving from a trackside camera view.

In lamens terms.. you're not editing the replay, you're editing video of the replay

But can't you use Sharefactory to edit it?
 
I can't even get Sharefactory to do anything right now. Probably has something to do with PSN being down for maintenance at the moment. (although only on PS4 cuz I can login with my PS3)

The video, yes. Any video created by the recording feature can be edited in sharefactory. Is that what your having trouble with?

Yeah that's what I was having trouble with,I was fixing to try again but I guess I won't now since it's not working at the moment
 
So basically you can only edit a 15 minute video right? I'm trying to find a way to make a nice video of the race night broadcast

The best way to go about it is to treat your recording as "editing". You can create as many clips as your system has space for. Then use share factory to combine and edit them in finer detail.
 
After that start the other night, Alex, the menace should be on super secret double probation. I would go as far as a public flogging. No soup for you...... Next.

Do you think inverted pedals will help you see drivers around you? If so, then I'm super supportive of this move ;)

@HazardLvL4 I know I mentioned during the race that I thought you turned down across my line to pit in race 1. But after watching the replay it was Cheez or something like that. I was on the inside line of the final corner with Lobban behind me. Cheez was up ahead on the outside of that corner and decided to pit as I was about lap him on the inside. When he came down I had to avoid and turned into the grass and spun which allowed Lobban to go around. I was a little peeved but now I know it wasn't you ;)

Nice rig Alex, the menace..lol. Your pedal angles are less than mine, I don't have to push my foot as far for full effect. I also kept the diamond plate on the arm for my heel with some foam to cusion the heel. My pedals are mounted higher 'cause my seat is higher, plus my driver is higher than everything. Winters cumming, mods will be made. I really like the footrest. Very similar to my rig except it looks twenty times more professional. I have six speakers and a sub mounted all over mine for the true surround sound experience. It honks, my neighbors hate it. I only use headphones when I want to talk to you wan.......guys.
 
Mike, are you using Thrustmaster pedals or g27 pedals? Just curious about the diamond plate your talking about. Mine are g27's.
 
Oulton Park is fun. I think I've got my car handling a bit better now. It's slowly but surely getting faster and more manageable.
