Why do we have night races on tracks with little lighting in a car that wasn't made for night racing,just wondering :odd:

Just to make it harder for the older guys that are rockin in this car so that us younger guys have a chance at beating you. Hahaha

honestly none of the cars in this game really light up the track much different for me.

I would suggest starting your practice in full daylight. This way you'll get a better idea of the track limits, lap timing and things you can look for as marks. Once you are comfortable, then throw in the sim time and adjust your points for the grip.
 

Did some playing around with AC today,if they would get the online stuff straightened out it will be a great game,the tracks and cars are beautiful,the physics and sounds are great,they have patched some of the bugs so it's a lot better

Hmmm... I think I see your game. "Go play Assetto Corsa, don't practice for Wednesday night's race." :lol:

Honestly just kidding, I just wish I had time to play more than one game. I LOVE Dirt Rally and haven't played that in over three weeks. Huh, it's tough being a Dad. I did get my butt kicked in NHL-17 by my eight year old son this weekend though. How embarrassing, but that is an incredibly cool game.

Yeah,as with my previous post about Wednesday's car,I am very frustrated by this combo so I had to take a break and do something different,AC was a great escape from that,I actually had fun racing again

If AC had a half decent online implementation, I'd switch in a heartbeat. They are bringing Porsche and Laguna Seca soon, if you haven't heard. I thought the first Porsche pack kinda sucks, but I'm willing to be patient.

Yeah, I feel ya. The whole darkness thing is kinda wearing on me too. So much darkness. But I spent some time practicing and got a decent feel for this track. We're definitely going to have to play nice here. This car wants to use all of the track. The pit exit can present some challenges as well.

I agree........ we call PCars The Dark Side on Snail, but we didn't want it taken literally. I am not looking forward to this race.
 
First highlight reel for Wednesday is rendering now,should be up in about an hour,I just did the first race for now,Pcars replays suck and I'm still figuring out the Share Factory thing
 
I think the replays are pretty good actually. Not good for policing, but decent enough for editing.

Are we having class tonight?
 
No, tomorrow. A client just got notice that, his house is being put up for auction on Thursday and it looks like a long night for his lawyer (in this case, me).

We will resume normal programming tomorrow with mock race for tyre and fuel testing included.

Sorry about that.
 
I think so @Lessen ,the replays would be better if they would let you know or pick which position you want to follow,there is no rhythm to switching between cars,it seems kinda random

I think it's the order of the namelist on the lobby screen.. So basically, zero relevance to the competition. Boo...
 

Highlights of first Wednesday race,it's a little rough,the first part of the race is doubled for some reason,my mistake,I'll get it figured out and get better at it,I wish you could watch without the control panel being in the way but if you take it off screen you lose the ability to change the camera from car to car,oh well hope you guys like it:cheers:
 
@swjaxon nice video. Working those controls will take some time. Before long you will be changing drivers without even thinking about it. Then you will be changing views as well. the control panel will be a distance memory.

Good old Iphone 6 camera! I record videos from each race weekend I attend so when I get my racing fix i can just turn the speakers up and watch.

There is an update on the ps4. May be causing it.
 
Sorry for not showing up yesterday. Things got really busy at work. I managed to stave off the auction late last night, so it's all good. I'm a zombie today, but it's worth it.

Regular service will resume next Monday, and I'm working on an special treat as apology, but it will take a couple of weeks to materialise. More info as it becomes available.
