The threat of losing all your points or even being removed from the league for carelessness, should get everyone on the same page of "no contact racing". Everyone's friends ,I get it but leadership has to be willing to cut ties if someone really doesn't conform to policy(not saying anyone is deserving ATM(edit: at the moment , AERO), but if they knew that's a real possibility, they may race differently). Strict enforcement would have an affect here. Everyone being so close , you'd hate to have to miss out on the fun due to personal carelessness on track.

My reputation? I like to think I am one of the cleaner guys in the league and am respected for it. Yes, I have been doing this a long time, but, when someone who should know better brakes way before they should for a corner and then gets hit from behind, the responsibility should be shared. Regardless, I hit them from behind which makes it my fault. I did what the rules called for. Nobody IRd me, so what's your issue? Were you there to race...no, did you review the race....no. Have you ever hit someone from behind...yes, have you never made a mistake that cost other people positions....yes. Is this the pot calling the kettle black? Jeez Josh, lighten up man, this is supposed to be fun.

So I couldn't figure out what ATM stood for, other than the obvious ATM at the bank. So I looked it up and clicked on ATM urban, the meaning for it was....well look it up....and then say it in the sentence....I'm still laughing!

Lol,, there are at least 2 meanings and me typing that always has me guarded for who's going to call out the alternative. Thanks aero :lol:

I'm not going to get strung up in a tit-for-tat with you, no matter how mucj you try to sling dirt. I simply called out your definition of "clean racing", which clearly you stand by. You're entitled to your opinion. I just do not agree with it, that's all.
 
It seems some holier than thou platform sitter has a personal thing with me. You started this by making it personal on the open thread. Funny, I have heard said hollier than thou platform sitter say sorry to me countless times after contact was made on me going back to GT6 days. If said holier than thou platform sitter was perfect and never made mistakes on a virtual racetrack, I would listen but fiirst holier than thou platform sitter has to fire up his controller and race, the peanut gallery is full, but I'm sure DesertPenguin will move over to make room.

By all means guys, if I cause you to wreck, IR me. I don't take it personally and it might cure me of my alleged bad driving habits.

I have no personal problem with you. I do however disagree with your general approach to clean leagues and their policies. Like I said, you're entitled to your opinion. I simply disagree, and to a finer point, think you're sometimes just plain wrong. I have no agenda but to debate what clean league sim racing should entail and how one may achieve it. I would expect you're able to discern the difference between our personal relationship and my opinion of your clean league mentality.

Is there anything going on at the track that is making people edgy?
What the hell?

Not pointing any finger or saying it's one person's fault, but lately there has been a lot of angry messages in here.

Below are the current Active Drivers with provisional entries into the Main Event. The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race at Hockenhiem GP by replying in this topic (no later than 7:00 pm eastern on Wednesday) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I confirm). I will update the list accordingly.

If there are less than 16 drivers confirmed, we will not need KOQ this week and will open the Lobby to all drivers @ 8:30pm Eastern. If there are more than 16 confirmed drivers that week, we will implement the original KOQ process and only the top 10 Confirmed drivers will be locked in and all other drivers will need to go through KOQ as usual.

The hostility level is definitely up a few notches here lately
 
Confirm,

Just did some laps with Alex and others who were hitting 152.xxx. After some tuning I was able to hot lap 148.9xx and a more constant 150.1xx - 150.4xx. As I told Alex, no drinking on race night for me, need all my concentration just to survive.

I'm hoping to get back to practice soon. Racing is starting too late for me due to the time difference, so I'll wait until our artificial time zones change back to a more practical 1 hour lag.
