So the latest update has added watermarks to photos?
th51185c.gif

No disrespect to people who hate the watermarks, but it's just not that big a deal to me.

So today I felt like just going for a drive around souther Europe. I painted up a dark wood/pale orange '49 Mercury and went for a drive. No destinations, no check points, just point the car any way that looked interesting. I popped my latest two CDs (Book A Trip: The Psych Pop Sounds of Capital Records volumes 1 and 2) in the hi-fi and took a lot of photos along the way.

You make it waaaay too hard to pick a favorite, man. All your shots are glorious!

(I should really take the Merc out of the garage more often).

Yesterday three new CDs arrived in the mail from the excellent Ace record label in England: Girls With Guitars, Destroy That Boy! More Girls With Guitars, and The Rebel Kind: Girls With Guitars 3. All pretty much garage rock by all-girl bands from the 1960s. So I listened to them while shooting a few cars which were all blue for some reason. It wasn't a conscious decision. So I will call this set
Rhapsody In Blue

That Mercury update is simply brilliant. 👍

And to comment on the watermark... it's not so much it being there, it's more the fact it was added after the fact. It's easy to remove but it's just irksome.

I totally get that. And thanks.

I can't explain it, but I love this Jalpa. I know there are faster and better looking cars out there, but for some reason, this ugly pug just speaks to me.

Great colour for it and you've shot it really well.

I'm going full 80s with mine, white on white alloys.

Did you just call the Jalpa ugly?

oh-no-you-didnt.jpg

/jk, it's a matter of personal taste, I guess. Good job on the update, shot #8 is absolute brilliance.

I agree on the color, it works great and especially makes for some beautiful shots, what with all those reflections and all.

I like this one

nice Jalpa series, love the color. I like this car too.
That's a factory color. For some reason I've been favoring deep blues lately.

You are going to shoot photos of that, right?

You're right, it's a matter of personal taste. And I don't really think it's ugly, just not as beautiful as some other cars out of Sant'Agata.

That's the house I want to live in.

Satoru Nozaki's Masterpiece
(I was also thinking of naming this "The Best Toyota Yamaha Ever Built.")
I just could not stop photographing this car today. As FosterG said, "that car has LINES."

Aston Martin DB5. I was tying to highlight the fact that the wheels are painted in HRE Satin Bronze (thanks to ClydeYellow for his post in the Forza Manufacturers Color Chart), but I'm not sure it came through.

Very nice, 1st one is my fav.

I spent today listening to the Secret Agent channel on SomaFM today. If you're not hip to SomaFM.com, then get wise and get on it.

First up a couple more Fulvias because Fulvia.

Then I painted my Buick GNX red and took it for spin. I am really liking that beast.

Finally I got me a '60 Corvette and took it for drive. So many curves to look at.

Those GNX shots are some of the best I have seen of that car. Red Corvette is really vibrant.
Thank you. I love how those HRE wheels look on it. I think as long as you use a dark color on the GNX, those wheels will always look good on it.

Loving your gallery nearly as much as you love the Jalpa!
And I do love the Jalpa. Thank you.

You should give one of your cars A Sunset Shimmer Colour scheme ;)
I tried doing that with a Ferrari California in FH1. I liked the cutey mark I made, but I could never get the stripes to curve and flow like Sunset Shimmer's hair. Maybe I'll give it another go this weekend.
