Here's one of the cars that I really wish I had.

69dodge_charger, my sister and her husband are restoring a 1970 Dodge Charger with a 318 in it. 👍 It should be finished soon.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you pm some pictures of the finished car, or any other photos of it?

No, as the NA engine is the REAL MR2.

The SW20 MR2 is not a REAL MR2 in my opinion. Why? Curb weight. The SW20 is heavy compared to the AW11 and the ZZW30. About 400 to 500 pounds more. Also, the 3S-GE was never sold in a US MR2. Finally, the 3S-GTE weighs more than the 2ZZ-GE, and I prefer NA tuned engines.

And I guess the whole aspect of the 2ZZ-GE being a direct swap doesn't hurt much. :p

I don't like having to "fit" stuff in those engine bays... the 20V in my MR2 takes up enough space I feel... not much clearance from the firewall to the trunk :p

The nicest Ferrari I have ever had the privilage of seeing on paper/pixels in my entire life...

I have to agree, that is the prettiest Ferrari I've seen in a long time.

Boost Lee

I'd love one of those....

And one of these (The S version).....

I saw this car in person last year in Chicago on the Hot Rod Power Tour 2004. Very nice indeed. I took some pics of it too. 👍 Too bad it rained the whole day. :indiff:

I forgot to post this pic with my other 2 pictures. I will have a similar car hopefully within the next 5 years. This has been my dream car before I even wanted a 69 Camaro. 👍

Hahaha...nice! I'm only 18 and I've already driven your dream Maserati. My parents somehow got to know the sales manager at Maserati of Cincinnati and back in September 2004, I got a very special treat: 1 hour by myself in an '04 Maserati V8 Coupe. Needless to say I flogged that poor car around town like I was trying to set a world record. It handles like a dream...those windy Cincinnati roads with the yellow "25 MPH" signs probably twisted and warped when I passed them pushing over 55 MPH around the corners. I highly recommend a test drive if you can...my dad had a go in another Maserati at the same time as me and he almost bought it

I did drive this one, its a builder/ friend that I do work for...
he wont let me take it to the track yet though... I'm still workin on that....lol

Well I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you get your chance. It really is a wonderful car and gives you a wonderful opportunity to let loose and enjoy yourself to the extreme. I do recommend you take it to the track though because you should not be doing the things I did when I was behind the wheel on a normal road
